    Jae'Sean response

When he first joined the team, I wasn't sure what to expect from him. Admittedly, I was still soured that it looked like Rockets wasn't going to run it back. Tate won me over with his play. The defense, the lost post offensive moves. He played most of the games this season.

Made 1st team all rookie, not since 2008 Rockets with Luis Scola. Tate reminds me a bit of Scola with the lunch pale DNA. @scolandry1

Sounds like this recognition can help fuel him to keep contributing in future years for the Rockets.

Great job by Stone getting him undrafted and Kmart Jr in the bottom 2nd round. Def makes me excited with our 3 picks in this upcoming draft.

Well done JST! Really unique player, doesn't fit the mold of a 2, 3 or 4. He blends hard nosed defense on 2-4, with a very solid low post game, above average handles/playmaking skills and an improving 3pt shot. He's the high energy type of player that every team needs and has an uncanny ability to get a basket when you need it the most. His game should age well and he can be valuable as a starter or first/second guy off the bench.

With coaches looking for match up advantages, JST give Silas some versatility to be creative with his playmaking. For me, he fills that Tucker, Beverly junkyard dawg that I'd love to root for into perpetuity with this team.

    I love JST.

I hope our young guys like KP and KJ replicate his energy and attitude.

If we get Mobley he might not, depending on whose still on the team. If we trade Wood then yeah he'd start, if we play Wood/Mobley twin towers then he might have to come off the bench.

If we get Green or Suggs then yeah he'd start at 4 I'd I think.

    KPJ/Wall/Ego/Wood/Mobley
    KPJ/Wall/Green/Tate/Wood
    KPJ/Wall/Tate/Wood/Mobley
    Suggs/KPJ/Wall/Tate/Wood

    All possibilities.

I guess these are all possible scenarios but it's too early to tell. I expect Ego has played his last game as a rocket...it would be a blessing if we traded Wall...and Wood might get traded if we draft Mobley.

The issue is the shooting. While Wood can shoot 3s and Tate can I'm not sure you want to rely on them spacing the floor I guess...and then you have Wall whose also just a decent shooter at best.

But I guess a team of Wall/KPJ/Tate/Wood/Mobley is very long but I do worry about their shooting ability.

I like KMJ at SF if he continues to improve his 3 pt. I’m hoping our lineup looks like this unless we move the 23rd and 24th pick for a move up.

    KPJ
    Green
    KMJ
    Wood
    Olynk

    Wall
    Gordan
    Tate
    DJ Wilson

I think I like DJ Augustine over Wall
I don't think Olynk is coming back though

Tate will fit great with Green and KPJ. He gets almost all of his points in the flow of the offense. Put backs, back door cuts, pnr, etc. He doesn’t need the ball in his hand to be effective. Not sure his game will improve much but you need solid role players like him around your stars.
