Hakeem handling the lottery suspense like a BOSS. Meanwhile Ben Wallace is over there squirming and contorting himself.

This is probably the second best senior that could’ve happens for Hosuton because Detroit should be good enough to send us their FRP next year they owe us. Maybe

    Jalen Suggs PG GONZAGA • FR • 6'4" / 205 LBS
    PROJECTED TEAM Houston
    PROSPECT RNK 2nd
    POSITION RNK 2nd
    PPG 14.4
    RPG 5.3
    APG 4.5
    3P% 33.7%

The Rockets have had and lost stars like James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul in recent years — so the franchise is in desperate need of another one. And though I do think there are arguments to be made for Evan Mobley and Jalen Green, the pick should be Jalen Suggs, a great competitor and top-shelf athlete who can be an All-Star level player if his 3-point shot becomes more reliable

    Sharife Cooper PG AUBURN • FR • 6'1" / 180 LBS
    PROJECTED TEAM Houston
    PROSPECT RNK 22nd
    POSITION RNK 7th
    PPG 20.2
    RPG 4.3
    APG 8.1
    3P% 22.8%

Sharife Cooper is a little on the small side, which will likely be the thing that prevents him from being seriously considered for the top 10. But he's such a gifted passer and playmaker that he would be a reasonable option here for a Houston franchise in a multiyear rebuild.

    Jeremiah Robinson-Earl PF VILLANOVA • SOPH • 6'9" / 230 LBS
    PROJECTED TEAM Houston
    PROSPECT RNK 40th
    POSITION RNK 6th
    PPG 15.7
    RPG 8.5
    APG 2.2
    3P% 28%

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl was the leading scorer and rebounder for a Villanova team that won the Big East by multiple games. He's not the best athlete, but his understanding of how to play, and his ability to be a pick-and-pop 4, could allow him to become a core piece for the Rockets, who are still probably years away from competing for a postseason spot.

    2. Houston Rockets: G Jalen Green
    Ht./Wt: 6-6, 186
    G League Ignite: 17.9 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.8 apg

Green has arguably the biggest upside in this draft class, but some teams still think he needs a year or two to develop into a prime-time combo guard in the NBA. Green has been incredible in pre-draft workouts this year and focused on showing NBA scouts he can facilitate for others at a high level during the G League bubble season. Cunningham might have it locked to the Pistons at No. 1, but there are definitely going to be a few teams that take a look at Green, including the Rockets at No. 2 to join Kevin Porter Jr. in the young backcourt.

    23. Houston Rockets: C Neemias Queta
    Ht./Wt: 7-0, 245 | Class: Junior | Utah State: 14.9 ppg, 10.1 rpg

    24. Houston Rockets: G Tre Mann
    Ht./Wt: 6-5, 190 | Class: Sophomore | Florida: 16 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 3.5 apg

This is better than Parrish's. I have Murphy III instead of Queta, plus Bassey. Tre Mann has more upside than Charles, but there won't be any room for him with Green. Queta would be higher on my list, if he had good lateral quickness. Greg Brown has gone down on my list, ditto for Ziarie Williams since we have the 2nd pick. No to BJ Boston too.

I hope we can acquire Scottie Lewis or Kessler Edwards with a second rounder. Tilman did do one good thing, by buying the 52nd pick for KJ Martin.

Olivier Saar or Jerico Sims should be our potential two way players.

Mobley is the positionless player, but Green might have a better chance to become a great player. I won't be upset at Suggs, he is a good player. I will be a bit disappointed if he is preferred over Green.

Mobley in my opinion. 7footer, extremely long and athletic, great on D (in the paint and on perimeter), can score around the rim and midrange, can handle the ball, can develop a 3 pt shot (form is already there). Just give him a couple years to build up his body to get stronger. Not going to find 7 footers like this kid too often. There are always 6'5-6'7 guys that can score the ball...

Here is the #2 pick 2 years ago, much more talent than Mobley coming out.

Jalen Suggs shooting splits and diminutive frame scare me off. He isnt a great PG either. Another combo guard caught in limbo. Wouldnt even be surprised if he slides a little.

I would be happy with you draft.

I'm still with Bassey; lost some height but I love his 7'3" wingspan

    Fits Silas system well:
    setting screens
    roll man (PnR)
    PnPop (75% FT shooter)
30.5% (3P%) on 2.1 attempts per game (can improve w/practice)
dive/slash to rim as he drags behind facilitator thru the paint
    Blocks/Rebounds/Alters shots

    I don't trust Quetas knees....Dedmon type legs.
I do question lateral footwork of Queta?

it’s possible this kid would be an all-star and consensus top 10 at his position had he not been picked by the Kings ...

Drafting the right guy is important . So is how we develop them
