Green can handle contact. Mobley is a bit soft.

I hope this doesn’t age well, but why exactly is Cam Thomas so much lower than Jalen Green?

With Tilman/Patrick Fertitta the Rockets are capable of taking this any direction.

Cade, please buy a fat suit and give a passive workout to Detroit.

I will be happy with either Green or Cade. Just don't trade the pick for some one like Ingram or Lonzo Ball.

The fact that this is even news let's you know that Green is the clear cut best player in this draft.

Okay? That doesn’t change the substance of the tweet.

Unfortunately, yes. Let's hope, they will have the sense to go after the highest upside player, because they apparently want to go after a established star. I don't think there is any need to do that.

Yeah but his quote was something like bad teams make bad decisions. Detroit was defending champion when that pick was made and went to the conference finals a lot back then.

I can imagine an established star coming to Houston and being ok
with a rebuild. The timeline is off. This is why Aaron Gordon vetoed coming
    to Houston.

Let's face it, Kevin Porter Jr , Wood, Kenyon Martin Jr are all raw commodities.
Wood needed the weight of Cousins, Patton and Olynyk to get thru the season.

Right now the Rockets don't have their replacement on the roster. Sorry DJ Wilson
is probably not the guy. Unfortunately if Mobley is the calvary......then our calvary
may need to call the calvary to help him. 218 pound centers get pushed around
pretty easily by these 250 pound plus centers.

I love Daryl Morey, but one of the worst features of GM'ng that he brought in is the "We are always ready to do anything/anytime" performative game theory of GM commentary.

I don't think he even did it that much himself, but everybody now feels like they have to be public poker players and create uncertainty or else they'll be giving somebody advantage. Sure you're gonna trade the pick Detroit. Sure. Maybe I'll just raise and then discard all 5 cards. I'm unpredictable!

That's the reason why I don't see a established star coming to Houston. They don't have the cap room for one either, unless Luka forces his way here. I'm not too keen on Zion to be honest.

I don't want to trade the 23rd and the 24th, but I wish we could acquire Poku. Unfortunately, that seems to be a tall order. I admit I'm surprised OKC traded Moses Brown for the 16th pick.

Obviously he's going to say that, but you know they're going to keep it and draft who they want.
