Mo Bamba had nowhere near the skills of Mobley. I watched him at Texas.

KPJ and Green will be like keeping Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter together

If you want KPJ in your long term plans as the PG, you would get Green. Heard he's not the greatest ball handler, just NBA level elite athleticism and scoring.

Not a fan of drafting big man in this league anymore unless they can pass like Jokic. This is a play makers league.

I'd be happy with either guard Green or Suggs. Mobley doesn't seem THAT special.

What I like about Suggs is that he has some Dog in him. He doesn't back down and he has a great motor. I feel like he could be our PG for 15+ years.

I need to evaluate Green but can anyone in this thread speak to his motor?

Green's game right now reminds me of young Jordan with all the double pump moves in the air. Obviously not up to that level but just similar playstyle.

I get that Green is obscenely athletic but his D league stats are pretty underwhelming and his advanced stats are horrendous.

What did he show you guys in the G League that looked #2 worthy?

Even if the Pistons weren’t going to take Cade, they’d be smart enough to sell the pick for a huge fortune.

He seems to be engaged throughout the game.

Jordan had a 6.9 ft wing span not 6 ft 9 in
    That's a 6'11'' wingspan

Yeah, Jokic looked frustrated while playing the Suns, unfortunately for bigs the NBA is a guard driven league. Pair Green up with KPJ and let them grow into one of the best backcourts over the years to come.

Bamba actually played well once they cleared out the roster and gave him consistent minutes.

11.1/7.5/1.6 BLKs in 20.8 minutes a game on a line of .469/.337/.712. Though Orlando has some interesting bigs with Isaac, Carter, and Wagner.

Nothing. It's based solely on his athleticism. I think the playoffs are proving taking athletic guys with poor basketball skills doesn't work.

What about the elephant in the room, will John Wall sign off on the pick?

John Wall should have zero say about this pick. He isn't part of this team's future plans.

You may say they are underwhelming but you cant dismiss the fact that however he achieved his stats, he did it against grown men who have played in the NBA at some point in their careers. That alone gives him a slight jump on all the competition. Including Cade.

this kids a freak. 37% from 3. Elite first step. Elite athleticism. You draft this kid and our backcourt is set for a decade. I like Cade because he has luka vibes but this young stud could end up the better player in the long run at least offensively.

He looks like a great 6th man instant offense type guy but doesn’t seem to create for teammates at all and he seems like a defensive liability. He looks like he can get out of control also.
