I’ve read they are pretty high on Jalen Green too. Imagine that - they go Green at 1 and he ends up being best player in this draft. Just our luck. We back into the “solid” career guy in Cade. Sigh.
Mobley is 1/2 the size of AD. He'll get pushed around in the NBA. Also, doesn't seem to be the most articulate in interviews. I'm leaning Green!
how does that make sense. The gleague is compromised of players that were often stars and the best of college basketball and is a pro league with a much more nba style of pace. Its easily the best scouting and training situation compared to the traditional route for top of the top prospectsl its new, but you get access to nba vet coaching adn training, you play against the next level under nba in talent and practice against them
Only if the Pistons relocate to a different city. Then, it would be that city, and not Detroit, who would draft Cade.
Im just talking about exposure, he doesn't get talk about a lot to other NCAA players, I belive he would be in convo of number 1 pick if played NCAA cause he would tear it up like crazy, Im not saying Gleague hurt him as a player but for people who dont watch Gleague and stuff
If you find out Cleveland and Toronto have Green behind Mobley and Suggs on their board, trade down to #4 and take Green + more assets. If not, just take Green #2. Trading down to 5 or below not worth it. I like Barnes, Mitchell and Bouknight and i know Kuminga has a lot of potential, but i'm not feeling the idea of passing on the top 4 talent, unless it was a really good trade offer.
Interesting Green was the #1 rated high school player over Cade, et al. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/playerrankings/_/class/2020
The gleague elite team is in their first year, so tht makes sense, but i'll tell you what the people who count, the scouts, are paying attention there even if espn is not. not to mention not every tears it up in college bc you play against a zone, its much slower and spread out. the gleague style is much more translateable to the nba. If you're an elite prospect it makes every sense to go there vs college
Different types of players KPJ is more of a playmaker and is being developed as a PG. Green is like Kobe/Jones tho
I think they could become enamored with Mobley. Eddie Jones is who Nbadraft.net compares Green too. Let KPJ keep learning the point he has elite vision just needs more time. Feed Green all the shots he wants.
