Found these in their site. Don’t see the normal ripe color thought. They say if you are a half size to go up to next size. Not a bad price if they last 25+ years. https://www.gurkees.com/braided-bunch/?sort=alphaasc
I had pairs of Jordan 3s through 7s. I also had some original Reebok pumps. I was a little kid, so they wouldn't fit anymore, but I wish I had them.
My light blue polo from my wife and I's very first date. I was a lot skinnier back then . Good memories of that shirt though.
Not a Nehru shirt, but I have a silk Nehru jacket I purchased in Bangalore in the 1960’s. It’s hanging in my closet, along with a long flowing white linen shirt that comes down nearly to my knees, with long sleeves. It’s also from India, where you might wear it with lightweight white trousers back then during the summer. I bought that in Houston at a little shop that wasn’t far from where the Hobbit Hole cafe eventually opened. The jacket has held up pretty well, but if I actually wore the shirt today it would likely come apart at the seams.
I remember those being the "you'll grow out of it fast, so I'm not paying for Izod and this is close enough" shirts
I could be wrong, but I have the pants & shirt together as Shalwar (Pants) Kameez (Shirt). I have also seen an alternate spelling of Salwar Kameez. You have seen quite a bit of the world.
I sold my Jordan 2's and Original Space James 11 (they were kind of busted but still). Also, my friend took my original Jordan 14 red and whites and just started hooping in them and ruined them. I wish I would have put all the money I used building my sneaker collection and put it in the stock market. I dont buy sneakers much anymore though. Jordan wearing the 2's
I just got the low tops again last year. We wore them in a step show my last year in college and I returned them, I have been wanting to replace them every since. I'm surprised they have not reissued in different colorways these days. Anybody remember Kaeppa's?
I had some solid white Jimmy’z full length pants with the Velcro closure back in the late eighties. I’m too old and fat now for them, but I sure wish I could get an original pair or three. Somebody brought back the jimmy’z brand, but nothing solid white and no pants…..only shorts. Man I could rock those when I was young and fit and tan.
For a while, I regularly read a Forum/BBS with a focus on India and surrounding countries. I learned a lot about that part of the world.
I had a pair of Reebok Pumps back in the early 90s. They were hand-me-downs from a neighbor on our street whose family had a lot more money than mine did. I loved those shoes.
