Even drafts that look relatively safe have a history of being a bust at times. What's needed is a game changer, not just someone who makes us somewhat better. Morey's no longer here. The midrange has shown that when used well it can be deadly. Find a way to get . . . Devin Booker.
I think there's alot funky stuff that happens here with the effort given, real height, vertical jumps that go on these combines. I feel some sandbag it to dictate where they want to go. These scouts better have done their homework pre-combine. This happens alot in youth basketball leagues
Ziaire may be slightly taller but his wingspan is disappointingly short. Still take Jalen Johnson and JT Thor over Ziaire, in a heartbeat. Kai Jones over Bassey. Scottie Lewis measurables looking good too.
Jericho Sims can jump: 44.5, which ties for highest over the last 20 years. It also sounds like he's killing it in front of the scouts.
Ochai Agbaji of Kansas is killing it at the combine, both the measurables and the drills. He's not really on anybody's radar that I've seen, but seems like a good bet to slip in the bottom of the draft and to emerge as an under-the-radar 3-and-D specialist in two or three years. Hes big, strong, athletic, and a good defender. He shot 37% on nearly 7 3's per game, and has ramped up 3 point shooting volume and 3 point percentage every year in college. 41.5" max vertical (#1 among guards, #5 overall) #4 standing vertical among guards #6 shuttle run among guards #5 lane agility among guards Measurables 8' 7.5" standing reach (#3 among guards) 6' 4.5" height with shoes (#3 (tie) among guards) 6' 10" wingspan (#5 among guards) If this was the NFL combine he would now be a top ten pick in the draft on that performance.

Wasn’t Alperen Sengun projected to be a lottery pick? Why has his stock plummeted so much? Nbadraft.net has him at 31
Was just about to say this. Is there some negative correlation to leaping ability and skill or something?
