shitcoins go down faster, but if crypto rallies i think they will go up faster as well. if you don't think there's another crypto rally this year, why buy any coin? just sit it out.
Maybe I haven't done the math but I'm ok with slippage and taxes if there are opportunities to rebalance from BTC to alts. BTC seems to pop violently before everything else follows

Good. Bitcoin is helping reduce inflation of other items by acting as a liquidity sponge. May actually be good for the rest of the economy.

There's some new developments on blockfi, where if you got coins locked up there, I'd do some research on whether to keep them there. Call it FUD, due diligence or whatever
Seems like regulators are just going after their interest accounts stating they have to register them as securities in order to pay interest. So I would think that the funds should be safe, and they will have to eventually stop paying interest until it gets sorted out. I have some there, but will see what happens.
