    Does everyone realize that there is less than 3 days left ( Tuesday June 22nd 2021)
    I have performed many Mock Drafts , I do feel that the Rockets will get a pick in the first 4 picks
    Not sure about the first, as I see Detroit,Orlando and Rockets all in a close call. Yetti

    Need a fact check here, I just read that if the Rockets select 4th, then that pick conveys to OKC? Is that true cause I always thought it was the 5th pick ? That would mean that we are top three or bust…

    Not true. Top-4 protected...meaning inclusive of the top-4 picks.

    #5 would convey.

    Looking at that chart, you can see why the deal was made for just top 4 and not top 5. Morey never thought we'd be one of the five worst teams this year, but in case we just slipped into the lottery, the only chance we would have would be top 4.

    true but it’s a good lesson for GMs in the future.

    make it top 5 protected and that protects you if you’re “the worst” team in the nba which would be a result of an absolute disaster.

    Imagine the excitement at getting the first choice in the draft!

    Stone has him on the phone
    "How we going Bill"
    "Great news, we got number 1 draft choice"

    What he means is the Rockets are picking at 18, 22 and 23...
