What Lue did was great, but he had no other option; The media shamed him into playing Mann and Kennard when they were parked on the bench. Kawhi wouldn't try to play on an injury like Harden just did. Being allowed to play on a grade 2 hamstring injury 3 games in a row for 40+ minutes is coaching malpractice. Harden gave Nash an out and Nash stupidly took it, ran with it, then beat it up.
Yes, Harden has choked in big games before (like every player), but he does have an excuse tonight. But I guess the haters till have a field day with this. I’m not petty. I wish all our legends the best of luck. I hope CP3 wins it.

they’d be one of the worst teams to win it. A healthy nets team is better than all the remaining teams left, the only real challenge would be a healthy clippers team

I'm liking this post because yeah...Russ never got any excuse for being hurt during the bubble run. Also, Giannis went out last year due to injury and people still say he 'choked' and how he couldn't go deep in the playoffs and this and that. he didn't even play on his injury. At the end of the day, I agree the Nets win if Kyrie and Harden were healthy. They win if either one of them were healthy...but they weren't. It is what it is. No one is really going to care that much about his injury, it's a mere footnote in this series. People were really clowning on the Lakers this year although Lebron and AD been hurt all year.
Just more excuses from Harden. If he would’ve won tonight you wouldn’t have heard a peep out of his mouth. But he brought it up because he LOST. I don’t doubt that it’s a grade 2 but if you’re on the floor and come up short then don’t use it as an excuse after the fact. Why not reveal that it’s a grade 2 after he found out or even after game 5 instead of revealing it after another poor game 7 performance. Typical loser mentality making excuses and his fanbois use it as an excuse to cover for him.
