The thing is, if Harden was hurt, he has to know when to stop shooting. Tonight he was off. If he wasn't hurt, he should have continued to drive and get fouls. He didn't play good basketball tonight and they needed it. It was a near triple double, but he played 50+, so he should have those kind of numbers as should every starter. They don't need more help. They do need Kyrie.
The entire last 13 minutes was on Nash. There was no offense sets, plays or anything whatsoever. Just KD make something happen and sometimes a PnR with Lopez's man. Even the Bucks were actually running plays at the end of 4th instead of just isoing. You can get away with pure isoing if all you're big 3 are healthy; but this situation with only 1.5 of the big 3 requires coaching and actually running some sets. Nash and D'Antoni failed the Nets.

Harden had a horrible horrible horrible 4th and overtime. It was down right pitiful. Glad that bank shot 3 went in, but other than that, was absolutely horrible.
I’ve gone to the mat for Harden as much as anyone over the last 8 years, but I have to admit feeling some schadenfreude seeing the Nets lose. Grass isn’t always greener, brosef.
Next season will not be any easier, Harden will have to raise his game even if he wants to be the 3rd option.
I warned some people though they really should wait before counting Harden's championships Winning these things are hard, takes luck and skill. Nets just didn't have the luck this series.
