Why would you want to trade a player that is really hot? Right now, utility infield is the biggest problem on the Astros after the bullpen.

First we are assuming Toro will excel and make him an attractive trade to another team. If he underwhelms, no one will be interested.
If he does excel, shop him to see what's available, it's all about making the team better for the playoffs. He would be one of our few trade options available.
If the best option is to keep Toro after testing the market, then that's the best option.

He's one of our top 4 pitchers with Greinke, Valdez, and Urquidy with the second lowest ERA. That being said, I always thought he would be a better reliever so he can stay healthy.

I have no idea who will be available. Usually someone is available because of salary cost or lost of control from one of the teams who is in the process of rebuilding. Unfortunately, there won't be any cheap players which is why we need to be willing to go into the tax.

No specific names, but I guarantee there will be at least a handful of relievers available that will help the current bullpen.

Keep your eyes and ears open, think both inside and outside the box, but then make the best decision for our team. Sometimes that's making a move and sometimes it's staying pat.

I am not a fan of releasing players just because you couldn't get what you wanted and are upset. A certain ex-Phillie GM did that repeatedly when with the Astros. Get what you can, even if it's less than you think they are worth instead of just outright releasing them.

So... are you advocating changing the batting order for the team that is leading MLB in most every offensive category?

Memory? Did we used to have a player that switch hit, but would hit left against leftys and right against rightys? Or is my memory playing tricks on me?

What does the spreadsheet say the lineup should be today?
