    point well taken

I give them some slack since their #1 player is playing on a bum knee

If you’re good enough to build huge leads like that where you’re supposed to win, the bum knee isn’t anything more than a scapegoat excuse. They choked those games away simple as that

And it probably would be bigger leads if he was playing without a bum knee and thus probably would be able to withstand against the terrific comebacks by the hawks.

The Sixers are not making any excuses, at least I haven’t heard of any. I’m giving them more slack since their number one player is playing injured.

hes ALWAYS always injured... its on him....hes too lazy to go on a fine diet and workout regimen and roster building is too weak to allow him to play less and less demanding a role..its on the 76ers 100%

These very big NBA players do get injured a lot and he is quite injury prone. Yao is known to be extremely hard working and his large frame eventually got to him with repeated injuries. I think it's mostly the physical make-up of these bodies playing a game that puts lots of stress on joints. There are exceptions of course, like Shaq. You might be right, but it's hard for me to agree to a statement without evidence that indeed he's lazy.

In the play where he tore his meniscus - a lot of force went down to that right knee and it twisted quickly. Not surprising that he got injured after seeing that.

Good point on Benji and Embiid. Like you, I am extremely high on Embiid as a player.

As for Benji, one wonders if the long term plan is to move him. We all know how Morey operates; unless you produce (i.e., Harden or Embiid) no one is safe and everyone is tradeable. I could definitely see the Sixers trying desperately to move him for almost anything. Maybe send him to the Magic, the Timberwolves, or OKC, a team with a lot of picks or a high draft pick and cap space. Heck, maybe the Mavs? I could actually see how he could play with Luka. He can move to the 4 and be a great distributor. His size and athleticism would give him an advantage over many 4's in the league, especially on D.

I just think at this point, at least in Philly, he is "shook" and needs to move on.

Philly coming out and posting up Harris and trying to get Harris going. What kind of logic is that? This is a win or go home. Embiid touches the ball in the post every single possession. period.

Good news for sixers and doc, you can't blow a 20 point lead if you are trailing!

Lmao not only is Ben terrible in offense but his defense, ballhandling, and playmaking have gone to the shitter as well.
