Carlisle is leaving for another HC job. I wouldn’t mind bringing in someone like Bud if he gets fired though.

Unlikely. Silas and Rick are tight. Rick's not going to take one of his recent assistant's first HC position after just one year.

A disgusting suggestion !! Carlisle woul d be one to get a top management position, with a a club who might need him.
Not the Houston Rockets. I just noticed the possibility that maybe we might try to get one or two players and get rid of Wall.
    (I don;t think so)

Not surprising that halfwits here overrate Carlisle as well.

If the owner is even half way serious he would tell Silas to pack his bag and go nab Carlisle at whatever cost.
Dude is a top 3 coach in the NBA you get a guy like that you halfway to contending already.

he may be a great coach but it’s obvious he doesn’t mesh well with the new stars of the NBA.

He’s very abrasive and is not a players coach. If you want to win a ring you need to keep and attract stars. Sucks that’s the way it is now but that’s the way it is

It's pretty much irrelevant who the coach is right now.

Lol no way Carlisle would take Sila's job. He wouldn't do him dirty like that. Only chance is if Carlisle wants to take a break and help Silas as an assistant. Only reason we think that's possible is because MDA is doing it for Nash. Only reason that happened, is because no one wanted MDA after Doc slithered into the Sixers job like a snake in the grass.

If you have the type of star who needs a player's coach then sorry that player is too spoiled to win a ring anyway. Lebron's the only dude who can demand his coach and thats cuz he assembles the rest of the team and attracts superstar partners.

But anyway guess thats pointless now cuz we are not contending, Carlisle wouldnt want to coach the worst team in the NBA.

He is one of the best coaches in the entire NBA... he's not going to be an assistant to anyone.

The more realistic FO acquisition target is Shane Battier.

I actually watch Dallas a lot and I'm not impressed with Carlisle. I think he's one of the most overrated coaches in the league. He's good at getting mediocre players to play as a team which often to leads to better than average teams but I don't think the modern superstar would like to play for him

There's like 5 openings right now for a head coach and perhaps more after the playoffs. He's definitely not coming here when he can pick and choose where he wants to be.
