Tried to beat out a double play early in the game and pulled up limping about 3/4 down the line. Reportedly a left quad strain.

 

Well, gotta be happy with the W's. One of these decades the Athletics will lose.

 

Feel bad for Bregman. He needs the rest though. Really disappointing season for him this year.

 

He was doing fine (.879 OPS) as recently as late May.

The last 3 weeks though...

 

Last night, Astros became the first team in history with 6 HRs in a game without any from the 2-6 hitters.

My apologies to the umps. It appears the Rangers are good at framing and the umps already have a tough job. I know some are framing fans, but I see it no different between flopping in basketball, feigning a PI in football, or acting like you've been sniped at what the Europeans call football.
