Kevin Durant is a beautiful player to watch in full flight. He literally can do anything when he pleases.. The Bucks played their best game of the series and still lost with a injured harden and no Kyrie. If the Nets can by some miracle get in anything resembling a semi healthy squad they will run rough shot on the NBA
Durant always has this monster games but he is too injury prone for me. If he wins, he is getting cocky afterwards and creates more burner accounts.
Harden is better and its NOT EVEN CLOSE people with melo in the username shouldnt even watch the basketball, go watch tennis or some other individual sport lololol
The funny thing was during halftime I was sort of disappointed in KD. I thought he needed to do much more. Boy did he deliver. If he is on there really is nothing you can do to prevent him from scoring. That size, agility and shooting stroke is amazing. That being said, he is not really orchestrating the offense. Not like players like Harden do. Combing these two players is amazing. Imagine if Presti traded away Westbrook instead of Harden... how many championships would they have gotten...
Wow @ Durant, but let's not forget Jeff Green going for 7 for 8 from three point land! That's how a leader carries his team. Giannis shrank and showed why he cannot come through in the clutch. The Nets packed that paint and he couldn't do a thing. Middleton had more success driving. But the main problem is the coaching to me. How do you continue just playing Tucker on KD when KD gets that hot? And also the players for not doing something about it themselves. Same goes on offense, why not get Harden in on a screen to attack him every time? Only Jrue did it. Harden was awful on defense, so they could've taken way more advantage.
Btw they both played and its the Durant that dropped one of the best of history „HaRdEn BeTtEr NoT eVeN cLosE”
Imagine if giannis playing with Harden. That would be sick. Ain't going to happen because the Nets are going to be a Dynasty and Giannis pissed Harden off. Giannis is going to end up like Dwight Howard without the goofy personality. He needs a closer that can create easy shots for him.
KD is arguably the better scorer, but Harden is the better player overall. Harden is playing through a busted hamstring and didn't play for over 2 weeks. He was obviously rusty, and he obviously couldn't generate the amount of power he wanted to due to his hamstring; a healthy Harden makes those wide open looks he had last night. He honestly should be out for another 2 to 3 weeks, but he stepped in to try and help his team. If Kyrie didn't get injured, Harden wouldn't have played till the conference finals. Players like Kyrie, KD and Harden are all capable of having games as KD did last night, so it isn't surprising. Harden could bang in a 40 point triple-double game next game..... even with a busted hamstring. If the Nets win the series, they can perhaps get Kyrie to get back for game 1 and let Harden rest.
That's always been the case. If the Nets stay healthy, no team is beating them. They have too much fire power on the offense. All they have to do is play a little defense and they're good to go. The Bucks got destroyed in game 2 when the Nets had no Harden or Green..... now they threw away a 17 point lead against a Harden who is playing with one good leg and is extremely rusty, no Kyrie and a Harris who hasn't shot well for like 4 games.... and even Green has only just come back from a long injury. Honestly, that loss last night was much worse than game 2 if you think about it.
Tell me one time when Harden when Harden has put his Team on his back in a critical Game in the Play Offs, at least similar to what KD did this time, delivering a classic. As far as I remember, in the critical games, other players showed up (or nobody including Harden showed up).
Huh? Harden was the Nets' best player against the Celtics in the first round. He had a 41 point double-double, a 34 point triple-double and a 23 point double-double with 18 assists! Heck, against the Lakers last season he was getting double-teamed at half-court and still averaged 30 points. If it weren't for Westbrook, we would have beaten the Lakers. The year before he averaged over 33 points against the Warriors when CP3 and Capela decided not to turn up for basically the whole series. He's had many 30 to 40 point games in the playoffs. I hate the narrative about Harden not turning in the playoffs. He turns in the majority of his playoff games.... he just has never had true help like he did last night on a regular basis.
Exactly. We were in the WCF twice because of James Harden. We wouldn't even be a playoff team without him. When CP3 was by himself, he hasn't even gotten to the playoff or has been first round fodder.
