Very uninspiring performance by Germany. No creativity upfront and an inability to break down the French defense. I can see why people hate VAR even though it was the correct call on the Benzima goal.

Not going as far as ATW here (think we've discussed that more than once), still don't understand Löw for quite some time now. Bringing back Hummels and Müller was the right move, yesterday's line-up was not. With Sané our offense would've had more vitality, bringing him and Werner for Gnabry and Havertz instead of taking one of Kroos or Gündogan off was too cautious. The attacks were predictable, agree that Musiala could've been an X-factor with his surprising moves. Still, we played the best team out there and I'm optimistic regarding our match against Portugal on Saturday.
