So is this now setting up Harden's hero return later in the series to lead the Nets to a series win?

Players coming back from injury usually don't do that well. You can just go from 0 to playoff intensity like that.

Nets will bring him back on a gimpy hammy to save their season but he is going to re-injure it within a game or two.

    Same goers for Kyrie.

Their season is done and as is the Net's.

agreed…I think Harden needs an entire offseason to really get that hamstring 100%

hard to see him lasting 2 more playoff rounds if he’s brought back…he’s already injured this same hamstring 3 times, and the last 2 times were right at the start of the game

It looks like TNT has adopted the suns and grizzlies as their new “woke” team. Interviewing dbook and bridges before the game is a great sign.

The suns have lebrons buddy James Jones as the gm of the team. Klutch sports is still alive and well in the postseason

If kyrie doesnt come back where does this season rank among the least talented finals in history? Philly vs... suns or jazz? With all due respect none of those teams are winning a damn thing any other year

    I disagree.

When Durant, Kyrie, Harden, Lebron, Kawi are gone, guys like Michell, Booker, Simmons, and Embiid will be some of big guns running the league. The oldest ones are Gobert at 28 and Embiid at 27. Even Giannis is only 26.

It is just that entire young generation does not normally have a window this early where all the entire older guard gets knocked out or injured.

that’s a good question…I think the Lakers would’ve beaten the Suns if AD didn’t go down, and the Lakers did not look good

it’s not as bad as the 02 Nets facing the Lakers, 03 Nets facing the Spurs, and 07 Cavs facing the Spurs at least…the EC team was so heavily outmatched and had no business being a finals team

I wanted to see PHX-BK in the finals, that would’ve been really fun, but now I guess I’ll have to root for PHX-Philly, because I don’t want to see Utah in the finals, the Clippers are a joke to me, and Milwaukee is unwatchable

What about Miami vs Dallas or Orlando vs LA Lakers?

    Gotcha. That makes sense.

Though I would be surprised if a 3 time DPOY or 2 time MVP doesn't make the HOF no matter especially with both being international guys.

it didn’t feel like Dallas didn’t deserve to be there or had no business being there

u could probably throw Orlando into the mix since KG’s injury is the main reason they were in the finals, and they had no chance of beating the Lakers

Least talented? Come on, now. Let's say the Nets get eliminated, and you're left with the Bucks/76ers vs the Suns/Clippers or Suns/Jazz.

Embiid, 2nd in MVP voting this season.
Simmons, 2nd in DPoY voting this season.
    Giannis, 2x MVP.

    CP3, surefire 1st ballot HoFer.
    Booker, up-and-coming star/superstar.

Gobert, 3x DPoY, including this season.
    Mitchell, up-and-coming star/superstar.

Kawhi, one of the best players in the game (so many accolades).
PG, one of the best players in the game (when he's actually on)

    There's no shortage of talent.

    Does winning 5 and 6
Help Kyrie more than winning 6 and 7

I mean does one give him more time?

Part of me thinks Kyrie is done for 2 weeks or so

I don't understand how Brooklyn is still so heavily favored to win the Championship. I can understand them being the favorite even given the injuries, but the gap between them and Suns should not be that significant. Suns seem like a steal at +480.
