So is Ja Morant, Bradley Beal, Kobe and even Jordan. Not saying that he will be like any but he has already shown the potential.
One question. If you knew for a fact that Green was going to be like anyone of those players, would you pass on him?

Not a fact. Just asking, would you pass on him if you somehow knew he would be like one of the players I mentioned?

Turnabout is fair play: if you knew for a fact Mobley was going to be AD, KG, or Hakeem would you pass?

If I knew Green would be that guy I would pick him if I thought Mobley might be a AD or KG (truly I don't think he could be as good as Dream). The uncertainty of the draft is impossible to overstate. None of us know how any of these dudes will develop.

    Green is MJ…

    Kuminga is Kawhi….

Yeah I’m with you and I dont think in any scenario he’s ever going to be Embiid or DRob or Shaq etc in terms of bulk. He certainly comes more from the Bosh/KG/AD school of size. But there’s plenty of successful bugs of that size. Including the reigning 3x DPOY.

and not to be hyper focused on the dude’s body lol… but I like he way he plays and moves with a decently wide hip base. To me it speaks to the ability to bulk up. It’s a high center of gravity because of his height but his hips down through his upper thighs have some width/size to them, relative to the rest of his body, that a player like AD didn’t have. This is just from me watching a lot of him. To some extent it limits his fluidity. He’s not KD fluid out there. Even a little more robotic than AD was. But again it speaks to me to the potential to bulk up and create a thicker base somewhat in the same way Yao eventually did. Not that that was he best idea.

look the concept isn’t can this guy be the #1 on a ring squad. AD isn’t even that. If that was likely he’d go #1. There’s close to that upside but even at it’s ceiling I don’t see that in today’s nba.

But the best defensive player and 2nd or 3rd offensive player on a ring squad? I think so.

and more importantly… is he that player more so than Suggs? As that wound probably be your choice there.

I hate comps but I can't think of a better way of expressing the unknown future of these kids.

Comps are fine in themselves… The draft just becomes overhyped and the comps can be too.

We don’t really know how good this draft will be until at least two years but that doesn’t stop the hype machine.

I see more Andrei Kirenlinko than AD in terms of filling out the body. AK was a great defensive player so I think Mobley can do it….

    But time will tell.

I take AK-47 over Zach Lavine or Bradley Beal.

Defense, especially elite defense, is first in my book.

Elite playmaking and offense is first in my book and is why Cade is in his own tier on pretty much every board.

Ill be happy if we have a top 4 pick but would be disappointed if we took Mobley second.

Are you a Jazz fan? U can’t compliment anyone on that squad. It’s in the Clutchfans bible.

    Agreed.

An elite no.1 scoring option is always first priority.

We can draft for defense at 23 and 24 if need be.

Id be happy with Mobley at 3.

But Cade and Green should be the clear 1 and 2.

i hope we get josh giddey, or kispert, they would fit in well with olnyk( Olynk is the rockets franchise, we need to pair him with up with kispert or giddey)

wouldnt want threads being made on jalen green or cade if they struggled as a rocket and having to put up with that nonsense. ESpecially with an owner that wont spend to surround them with talent. Its gonna be harden and mcgrady all over again
