So it looks like 24 calls were missed by ump last night per Baseball Savant search. 15 in the Twins favor, 9 in the Astros. I'm guessing the Ump Scorecard will have that about a run in the Twins favor as I know the Astros has a couple with 2 strikes.

 

I didn't watch last night's game but listening to even Twin's broadcasters on the Friday game even they were saying that the Twins were benefitting from calls.

 

Yep, calls went against Astros at bad times.

 

At least we got a full line up today.

 

Valdez still needs to go 7 unfortunately.

 

I trust him the most out of our rotation to accomplish that consistently.

 

Would be nice to pound the Twins today. Send the fans home early and unhappy.

 

I keep hearing this and they just keep winning.

 

He has been playing the OF more lately... probably doesn't have much to do with anything, but this is the most he's played in the field since he's been int he big leagues.

His catchers mitt moving all over the place may actually be worse than his hitting. Hard for umps to call obvious strikes as strikes.

 

Oakland is reminiscent of the '16 Rangers. Win a bunch of close regular season games, then get blown out of the playoffs at first opportunity. The real question is will A's even see the postseason.
