Is Tilman better than Cuban? (Both are NBA owners)

Thank you for including (both are NBA owners) in the title. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't know what to do here.

 

Yes, without this I would've thought we were talking about the Mark Cuban on Shark Tank

 

Owning a franchise is significantly harder than acquiring the monetary equivalent. If you have enough money to buy whatever you want, you'd probably keep the sports team.

 

What? How can you hire a lawyer to kick out a guy as an owner? Thatst like if someone bought a house they can barely afford and are barely making payments and starting to sell some of the features inside so that they can keep it the neighbor will sue them for reducing the value?

Thats kind of a retarted response, No one is disputing the transaction didn't happen. In fact I just posted the exact transaction that shows tilman is the most over leveraged owner in the league. he borrowed the max from Les, borrowed the max from the nba, put down 15 percent of his own, then sold the rest in bonds. Then or 3 years as we saw, we saved money while we had our window.

And thats what this is all about, the championship window being belittled and more so to add feul to the flame of that, going to the media lying to the fans almost every time, pointing fingers, blaming and then deducing the 'culture' to nothing but a landrys.

This isn't hard to understand for apparently 99 percent of the people here, but with all the technology and progress in the world. We still haven't been able to cure Stupid and it still has gained prominence all over the world:/

 

Do people actually put wieght on what guys like Skip says? I think any reasonable adult can see they are like a TMZ and their lifeline is to create headlines and have some silly argument and make some outlandish statement that will keep them in the news, otherwise totally non relevant. I don't think I've seen anyone site skip.

but in any case...from that to Mark Cuban and Tilman are both owners...This is some pre-k level Speech patterns I'm seeing.

 

For some reason people posted a ton of Kellerman and SAS threads here from 2014-2018. This season it died, mercifully. They stopped talking about the Rockets.

 

Yea, not only that, in many cases its a fnatastic investment. The appreciation has been ridiculously lucrative for majority of owners. Sadly our moron owner bought in the peak, is over leveraged, but hell if I could do that with 2 billiong, i probably would've given it a shot. but i also wouldn't lie to the fans and point fingers at everyone else and not expect to get boo'd in houston as if I owned houston itself because this team belongs to the city, the owners are stewards who really just bring in financing otherwise they are replaceable bc there is a line to get into this small 30 billionaire club.

Now with the tv deals coming, they may have salary paid for JUST by tv money. so its going to get even better. Even balmer said he had his money in some fund and it made more senese to get the nba returns so he moved here, raising the new market of the nba and it hasn't looked back.
When Seattle and Vegas comes, itll be even more.
I wish tilman would just move to vegas and take that team, he fits right in vegas. In Houston, Texas...don't lie to the people.

 

Pretty embarassing. SAS is so obviously not a serious person for basketball. I don't hate the plyer, hate the game. Both have them have some lucrative money for doing what we do on here, bullshit. but htey are bullshit artist and their show doesn't work if everyone agrees on the nuances just like their top 100 lists.

But yea, any quotes by that guy should not be taken seriously, not even for argument sake. ESPN/TMZ is not where you go for Basketball side of NBA, its where you go for the NBA entertainment inc.

He is just teaching them tilmanisms and how to do the whole step on your throat thing in the playoffs. You know how thats so relevant for basketball and chris paul probably had to learn the hard way now in phoenix that you step on throats, he was such an innocent lamb when we had him.
