i think he's doing a pretty good job. we tend to focus on KD's makes because they look so good/unstoppable, but KD off the dribble against physical D has a history of mediocre playoff efficiency and he was around 50 TS% in game 1 and was 48% tonight. lost in the blowouts is that KD hasn't been that stellar (kyrie wasn't tonight or in game 1 either). honestly it's almost been more that the nets D has been holding milwaukee down really well so far (and almost stole this game).
someone said in the 1st round (or maybe through game 2 of this series) he was over 90% effective field goal percentage in the playoffs on open shots. he tanked that number hard tonight.
Nets will win the next two. Bucks edged out a win with KD and Kyrie and Harris shooting like ass minus the last few minutes of the 4th and Middleton and Ginnias each putting up 30 plus.
its because harden walks to his own beat, doesnt kiss anyones ass in the media. Never goes on anyones podcast, he is strictly a hooper. Harden haters have what i like to call HDS.. " Harden derangement Syndrome"
0-4 from the field, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 4 fouls, 86-83 win is the most PJ Tucker stat line.... ever? Also lol @ GIannis taking 31 shots to get 33 points. This game was on Joe Harris going 1-11.
Random thought is would Shane Battier be better and more valuable in today's NBA than when he was with the Rockets. Just came to mind because the stat line comment that reminds me of guys like Battier.
I mean I feel the Giannis hate has gone too far. Sure he may not have deserved 2 MVP's. He provides elite DPOY level defense and still gets you about 25 ppg in the playoffs. There are very few players who can provide both of those things. I get that his offense is one dimensional, he cannot be a playmaker, he cannot make free throws, and he cannot close; and because of those things and the team they built around him, it is not enough in this era of the NBA. He is still a superstar.
they tanked this game for Harden 1 to make his ring more meaningful 2 give him more time to heal 3 get owner more money from hosting the game 5 at home to pay for his max
This has GSW / Rockets vibes to it. Some blowouts, some rock fights, we’ll see! I don’t expect to see Harden come back to play this series though. They’ll be extra cautious with him
the nets might be in trouble.. i mean they prolly have a good chance of winning the next game trying to win the series but what if durant or kyrie reinjure going hard for it? we know they are BOTH fragile.....
