Culley is such a better persona than Bill by a thousand miles. The kind of coach I would prefer. Modest and honest and relatable not an ego maniac
Could care less about this. It's all about W/L's and I'm afraid that the L's next year will be many. I hope that after year two, everybody will hold this coaching staff to the same standards that they held BOB to in year 3.
Not by year three in my book. I'm giving Caserio/Culley a two year pass. But expect a really good team after 2 more drafts/FA periods.
Afraid? This coming season is 1000% a tank year. Stack the L's on top of L's. Have high draft picks, get several picks from trading Deshaun.... that is the way forward right now. Outside of seeing Mills play, I don't care if any of these guys are on the roster 2-3 years from now when they MIGHT be good if things go very well.
"We don't have what we call 'talent'. Everybody plays and we give out capri suns and orange slices after practice."
I completely get what you’re saying however what I’m trying to also say is when you have a coach that has a better personality that can relate to people and connect to people better than perhaps players might be more willing to buy into a new system that the Texans are doing and be willing to play and be engaged- I think part of Bill’s problem besides being Inept at decision making is he was also a D bag and he lost the locker room because of that mindset
Being a "players coach" was Culley's only selling point really. Completely agree about BoB and let's not forget that he was inept in certain aspects like challenges, clock management, 4th down, etc...Let's hope Culley is better in this regard.
I don't really care about personality, I care about competence. I always disliked BOB because he was completely incompetent as a coach and even worse as a GM. The fact that he was a childish dick could've been tolerable if he was a great coach and/or GM
