Matt Bullard out as Rockets TV Analyst

Matt doesn't fit the culture.

 

I don’t recall him ever saying anything too political-leaning or controversial but it was pretty clear what he identified as politically. His Twitter feed is way more obvious lol.

It was pretty obvious that he was very supportive of the social justice/reform and took every chance to expand on those conversations even if the original conversation had little to do with social justice.

Like if player X scored, sometimes Bull would just go on about how this player is “leading social justice reform.” To me, it just made some of the commentary a little awkward because, in the majority of the time, it felt like Bill or Craig wanted to continue talking about the game but then had to pivot to add into the conversation or let Bull finish before resuming play by play.

Again none of it should have mattered, but I can see how it might have turned some people away, even those that support social justice 100% but is already overly saturated with the it 24/7 and just want to watch basketball.

 

What the ****? I mean honestly I thought bull was boring, but I feel bad for him. He didn’t deserve to get tilman’ed.

 

They will hire a woman. Hopefully she’s hot.

At first I think that's ridiculous.
