Harden ate up that French Toast.

Now he's ready for some lamb gyros.

Meanwhile Harden just averaged 28/11/7 on 76%TS. If only he had the heart and grit to get swept out of the first round while shooting worse than Westbrick.

Go Harden. I don't want the Nets to win, but I can live with it. Harden is the most maligned NBA star ever. I hated the way he dumped us, and he collapsed against the Spurs, but he did a lot for us too.

the coaching, roster, whole team, everyone collapsed against the spurs you keep crying like Harden solely held back
Ariza, Anderson, Ego, CC from advancing

if you think it's entirely harden's fault then you so sure if you switched Harden with Kawhi then Rockets would have beaten the Spurs?

I'm not blaming only him. The whole team caved in no doubt. I expected James to rally the team to do their best.

and he did and they fell short. Not even Kwahi could have done it. Switch both and Harden would have led the Spurs over the Rockets,

That's the reason they got a legit superstar the following year. 1 superstart no matter how great was not gonna cut it against competition who has multiple superstarts and all stars.

I agree Kawhi wouldn't have been to lift them.

Steph's a fraud? No way, the dude is a killer. HE continues to get better at 33 and you could see he has been working on getting his shot off even more so against tight game plans. Just because the media nuthugs him doesn't mean he is terrible. If so, you are missing a hell of a show! Iif anything we shoudl appreciate it more now that we don't battle with him bc harden also just got maligned for things that weren't his doing for years, why would we do the same to another player? They had injuries and all kinds of issues this year as happens in the nba, most of the team was from the gleague level, and then even then if lebron doesn't hit that 30 foot 3, steph could be the 7th seed. Just because I think harden is easily better, harden is a historic HOF level player, thats no slight on curry to say harden isn't better bc curry is also a hof player.

As per why jimmy or many new age stars who have choices won't choose houston:
    "
I educated [Davis] on why I thought the team wouldn't be . . . ' He paused. 'All athletes are competitive and confident, until reality sets in. And I educated him on things.'"

Paul laid out what superstars need to see from teams to give a long-term commitment.

"You either need your team in place, or you need flexibility, assets, money, and the ability to make decisions. And, more important, the willingness to pay the [luxury] tax ... This ain't 'Moneyball."

so if Steph is such a killer, why did it have to reach to a point where a knock out game vs the lakers for the 7th seed? and what's the explanation for losing to Ja?

Bc it happens, was michael jordan not a killer while he lost 7 straight years? Was Lebron not a killer for seven straight years? Was harden not? Was kobe missing the killer mentality all those years he came short, lost even with rudy t?

If you watch too much espn, you have to be careful, you may think that basketball is 1-1. No wonder the stars go for superteams bc they realize the public and media focus on the finality regardless of the context of how basketball is won. So in all the cases above, and steph, hes not exactly the problem. If anything, just like with James harden he was the only reason we're competitive on the floor most nights and likewise that team sans steph is not just a lottery team, they'd be competing with the houston rockets for the worst team in the league. So just a social media mass generalization narrative to take hoops and make it elementary math. They came down to the wire on both those games and they had chcances to win there, its a 1- and done situation and just like in college with those games, anything can happen thats the fun of it. Ja is impressive, a star to be in this league. Lebron is lebron. Heck steph might've had a chance at utah with how they played em in the regualr season. IT didn't work out, as we've seen with so many stars and teams.

the sad part is that Giannis takes all that time just for the likely end result of an airball or brick
