On that note, I agree. The nba has been doing this for ages and embellishing the stats not to mention with ticky tack fouls, crazy thign is harden would have elite stats even without the mark up.

I think each plyer when they step in to compete with other elite athletes they have to have that mentality they can battle and win in any certain cases, sadly the media tries to laugh at it when player a is not as good or something, but its just the mentality you have to have to give yourself a chance. Lucky david didn't have to deal with espn before goliath with quotes of his delusional he can do it mentality laughed at.

Nets statisticians: "well he wouldn't have had the ball to make that shot if Harden hadn't passed it to him, so..." It checks out chronologically, good enough.

I’m convinced the media just hates Houston at this point. To see harden finally get his props from the media after leaving Houston is something I thought I would never see. Morey, Chris Paul, Howard all vilified in Houston have seen their images in the media change for the better as soon as they left Houston

@SidDaKid I see what you did there

Harden NEVER had a 58 total points in a series performance

OP moron. Imagine harden having some legit help and see what happens. The guy is the best facilitator in the world and could easily average 35 a season again if he wanted to, not like Stephanie Curry running around chucking threes with no playmaking skills. Harden can score and run an actual offense

Warriors could have made the playoffs if Steph, as a max player, was good enough to carry them to the 8th seed in a weak western conference.

    Alas! He was not.

And then the Mighty Grizzlies, a team of superstars and seasoned veterans got in the way.

    The perfect storm.

    Oh well.
