I watched this game and Durant and Kryie were BALLING OUT OF CONTROL the first quarter and were still down 1 Harden and the bench come in at the second . .. . . . 15 pt lead Never looked back after that Busted the game wide open. After that they were just free stroking No Pressure really on KD or Kyrie from then out Rocket River
Remember when Chris Bosh said that the one player Miami had to try and contain first and foremost in the Finals against OKC wasn't Durant or Westbrook but Harden?
I’m not saying it wasn’t racist - it was Boston after all. And I’m certainly not saying it was ok thing to do. but there’s a clear reason a fan would single out Kyrie and it’s not necessarily because he’s black. if a Houston fan did that to Scottie Pippen a couple years after he left us in suckitude my first thought wouldn’t that be “that racist fan!” But rather “what a dumbass fan! Sure ... Pippen quitten the d bag sucks donkey balls... but you can’t do that as a fan or person!” but then... Houston fans don’t have the reputation of being racist.
I'm not white or black if that matters. "Everything in the NBA is about race" said Broussard. It's just a constant racial baiting conversation. The fan had a KG jersey on. They noted that and immediately laughed at the "irony" of it as if they already made up their mind that he was a racist white man. Celtics fans are hardcore and Kyrie ditched them, disrespected them and taking shots at them, and who is to say Kyrie foot stomping on the logo didn't have racial undertones either? Because black people can't be racist? "It doesn't mean anything because it's just a logo." I guarantee if that was a white player stomping and smearing his shoe on a logo displaying a black person, there would be crazy outrage. Were trying to build a world where white people can't be proud of their own race and culture and contributions to modern day society. Everything they do is guilty and evil racism. The city of Boston and the Celtics franchise have a lot of white/Irish pride, why does that have to be racist? These conversations are perfectly understandable to have, but they're always so one sided imo.
It actually went down between game 3 (17.6) and now (16.3). I thought it was going up, too. I guess 17.6 is so ridiculously high to begin with. he’s handedly beating Durant on all adv metrics as well as ef% and ts%. But Durant is scoring much more. Even compared to Kashi, Harden is higher WS and BPM and TS%, Kashi marginally higher ef%
