We lost the series, but we really won. At the end of the series, we didn't lose ground to the A's, but the Yankees and Dodgers will be in 3rd place.
Out-hit 9-5 but win by 3 Urquidy's return next game is huge and Jake's start yesterday gives hope because we now have more starters which will, in turn, improve the bullpen. Astros need to do what the Padres did today. 1) Starter then 2) former starter relieves multiple innings.

These guys have a book out against them now. And even last year, Scrubb had issues with command. Add to the fact that they’re now pitching in front of fans for the first time, and it’s not at all surprising.
I guess baseball is different from football. Many football players played before huge crowds while in High School and certainly College. Baseball has fans, but not the huge crowds outside of the playoffs until you get to the higher pro minors. Even then, it's 5 to 15 thousand max. But crowds have seemed timid at this point outside of the inexcusable brawl. While it has not been reported as such, I cannot imagine that alcohol wasn't involved and MLB would want to keep that quiet since they make a ton of money off alcohol sales.
