Congrats to PJ Tucker and the Bucks! GO BUCKS! Bub-bub-bubble, gup-gup-guppies! Bubble, bubble, bubble! Guppy, guppy, guppies! Bubble! (Bubble!) Guppy! (Guppy!) Bubble Guppies! I'm Jimmy! I'm Duncan! I'm Tyler! I'm Bam! I'm Kendrick! I'm Goran! Bubble Guppies!
YUP. I also thought (and posted) that the Bucks made a mistake not purposely losing to the Heat the 2nd to last game of the season to avoid meeting them in the first round. Obviously I was wrong and the Bucks knew what they were doing! I heard on either the Lowe post or Windhorst podcast that Bucks team debated doing so, but the players opted to NOT tank to avoid them, citing them beating the celtics in the playoffs after losing to them the year before.
Giannis: "They said don't play with your food, so we didn't play with our food." Miami catching strays even after getting swept.
So WB would average anywhere from 50-54% and that's horrible, so Herro who averages 54% should be horrible as well not average lol. TS is talking about efficiency, doesn't matter how you do it whether it's fts or shooting that's the whole point of TS it's supposed to take everything into account so you know how efficient the dude really is regardless whether he dunks, shoots 3s or gets to the line. Regardless whether Herro gets to the line or not bottom line is he is in WB territory when it comes to efficiency so if you think WB is horrible then by your own standard Herro shouldn't be below average he is horrible too. FTs are key cuz they are basically free possessions, they don't use the clock and the shot attempt isn't counted so they are like invisible efficiency boosters. That's my point about JRue he went from a main guy in NOP to 3rd option in Milwaukee that's why his efficiency skyrocketed. Herro is in the same situation he is in Miami which has JB, Bam and Robinson he is basically in a "JRue" situation right now. You are saying he is playing great compared to other young dudes in crappy team but those guys in crappy teams don't have Butler and Bam to take the heat off them. If Herro's efficiency is this bad as the 3rd/4rth option then if he was like on the Rox playing a KPJ role then his efficiency would drop even further down. Without anyone to create for him he won't be taking shots with a lot of space so even his shooting nos would drop. Herro's splits look ok but since as you pointed out he doesn't get to the line and avoids contact his shooting is overrated and looks better than it really is. His vanilla shooting stats are good but since he doesn't go to the line unlike other players then his real efficiency stats are bad.
Milwaukee is a totally different team after the acquisition of Jrue tho who is a monumental upgrade over the likes of Bledsoe, and Miami isn’t the same team they were last year either...their offense dropped from 7th last year to 18th this year, and it shows...they went from 2nd in 3 point percentage to 19th...point differential went from 8th to 16th...they had a negative net rating for the season but the way Bucks fans were talking, it was like Miami was some upper echelon team, and boy were they shook...I saw some of them even picking Miami to win the series
Udonis Haslem needs to go sit his old ass down somewhere...none of the players are trying to hear from pops who doesn’t even play while they’re on the verge of getting swept How’s that Heat culture looking now UD?
BUBBLE GUPPIES LOLOLOLOL U needs to retire. The Heat are looking real foolish not trading for Harden.
With or without Tyler hero, the heat weren't getting Harden. They had neither the picks or assets to make a deal. Herro and one 1st round pick plus Nunn, Iggy, Duncan wasn't getting it done.
Glad Heat didnt trade for Harden Getting swept with culture and dignity > Harden There are more important things in life than winning.
They didn't have dipo nor did they have two first round picks, let alone 4. MIA's can't trade a first round pick until 2025 at the earliest. Teams can't trade picks beyond 7 years or in consecutive years.
