(I'm not sure if this is an official MCU movie, sort of like the grey area with Venom)

I loved Spiderman growing up, but did anyone really ask for this movie? Kraven is an interesting character, but a movie...

My thoughts exactly but gotta mine that IP.

Would much Rather them do a Green Goblin stand alone movie or bring back Doc Oc.

I said this before so many of the Marvel movies came out that I ended up loving.

I've always thought Kraven was a cool character and has enough backstory and character to carry a two hour movie.

Here's the biggest issue. This guy was Quicksilver in the MCU. Granted, this whole multiverse thing gives them a free hand to bring him in from another dimension, but IMO, it's a stretch.

Right, but this isn't Marvel Studios. It's Sony.

So the crux is, are these Spider-Man spinoffs in the main MCU? I'm not really interested in some side action. I haven't even watched Venom yet because it's not MCU 'cannon' as far as I've seen (and that the reviews were pretty mediocre).

I get that. Sony still has to execute for sure.

    Come on Xero.

Are you talking Comic book cannon or movie cannon because that **** is all over the place.

Venom is pretty mediocre but I can say the same for half of Marvel movies.

As for Quicksilver who even remembers him at this point and Kraven will look much different.

A big draw of the MCU is that it's a shared universe. A lot like Star Wars.

A big chunk of the fans are aware of this. It's why the more recent X-Men movies under Fox were flops. People want that joined universe.

IMO opinion shared universes had nothing to do with the flops by the X men, they were just terribly written movies.

Sharing a universe would have not done anything to make those movies better.

Deadpool is not really a shared universe but it was a hit and the Toby Maguire Spiderman was not a shared universe nor Nolan's Batman.

My favorite Marvel movies are stand alones so I really don't follow that logic.

    Quicksilver actor pretty scrawny.

    Green lantern = DC

Old Fantastic Four movies = Fox, not MCU. Different 'worlds'

Kravens's Last Hunt is a great story line. One of the best Spiderman story lines. It would probably too dark for a t v show or comic book movie
