Just watched it again a couple of times: throw was not perfectly on target but still would have beat Maldy, but ball bounced in front of the plate right on the lip of the grass and dirt and took a crazy bounce up instead of down, catcher was looking the other way. Sometimes luck is your friend.
All he's done as an Astro is come off the bench as a replacement starter and PH all over the field and make things happen. I just hope he stays healthy, that's been the only problem.
It's sad when your reliever comes in, gives up a home run and you think "That was a pretty good night for him." The Astros bullpen, ladies and gentlemen! Now go get more runs just in case!
Unless Pressly is missing his arm, Dusty has lost his ****ing mind if Abreu goes out there. Even if it works out.
Jones looks like a major leaguer, and I know he's been having an amazing year in the minors last time I looked, but every time I've had a chance to watch him for the Astros, he's looked terrible at the plate. He's had an especially awful night.
Ultimately its on the idots fans (ours and theirs) to control themselves but I hope all of the media outlets, so-called journalists, social media idiots and the other MLB players are happy having created this toxic enviroment aimed at us and our fans.
Of course they drill Yuli in the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs down 3, knowing that the Stros, unless they were idiots, couldn't do anything until they're back in Dodger Stadium. Remember that chickensh!t.
Damn that extra run would have been nice since Pressly apparently isn't available. Odds the first batter is walked?
