Interesting that playmaking seems to be the one thing holding Tatum (and the Celtics) back from the top tier of superstars. Pray for #1.
eh i don't really take 1 game to heart and his .210% Win shares is definitely eye popping. How fast was Jason Kidd? Steve Nash? Elite level PG's rarely need superb "quickness" in fact the ones that rely on it tend to quickly decline.
Yeah I agree. Don’t get tbags pascal vibes at all haha. With having our own pick the next two years, it should behoove us to suck and not get anywhere near the play-in
Lost me at Scottie Barnes..watched every Seminole game this year and mostly had me throwing throw pillows into the tv
What you say makes sense in theory. If the Rockets are extremely lucky to end up with a top 4 pick, then they must give their best. There are other players who might be beneficial in the draft. Defense and rebounding are a huge problem. Cade etc won't tolerate a losing culture.
Players With favorable stat lines. Take it with a grain of salt. Could be because they are playing against easier competition: Mobley Kispert Sengun Wagner Butler Duarte Queta
Takeaway on scouting repots. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cade: (consensus #1) 6'8 guard pro: Has handle, can score. Can pass, and pass at different angles. Tall combo guard at 6'8" Decent free throw. Play in various lineups. Compared to Luka. con: Occasional turnovers, because of high passing volume. (not a huge concern) average: average athleticism, not necessarily blow by guys. not terrible. ceiling: perenial all star floor: a starter in the league. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Evan Mobley (projected range: #2-4) 7'0" - two way potential SF, possible a stretch big. pro: quick leaper can stretch the floor switchable big great finishers at the rim tall and long arms compared to Chris Bosh, Porzingis con: ceiling: all star floor: solid role player ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jalen Suggs (projected range: #3-5) 6'4" combo guard, defender pro: Decent finish at the rim. High motor, good on ball defense, active hands. Good team defender Possibly underrated athleticism. Compared to a good Oladipo (less defense than Dipo, but possibly better playmaker) con: ball security (not a handle issue, but something to work on) ceiling: top 3 piece on a contender. floor: rotational players for long number of years. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jonathan Kuminga (projected range: #3-7) 6'8" - slasher wing, possibly a good defender. pro: can iso, can slash, good footwork on drives. can playmake has a NBA ready body good defensive recovery, has a size to defend 1-4, but known yet on on/off ball defense. compared to Jaylen Brown (shooting not there yet), Jimmy Butler (bball iq not there yet) con: may need to improve shooting. ceiling: all star floor: low floor, possible bust if shooting doesn't come and defense doesn't translate to NBA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jalen Green (projected range: #3-6) 6'6" - athletic guard / wing pro: best athlete in the draft. explosive, can jump. make cuts, finish lobs. scoring versatility compared to a zach lavine, gerald green. con: thin body now rushed footwork handle can be tighter, should make quicker reads raw, unpredictable if he can to his up side. ceiling: perennial all star floor: fringe rotational player ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Current order to take at the draft: #1 Cade #2 Mobley #3 Suggs #4 Kuminga or Green
