The Rangers could overtake everyone and win the division while citing this series as the turning point.

You walk Garcia, pitch stupid carefully to Gallo, who K's a ton and has exactly 1 ****ing sac fly in his whole ****ing career. If you walk him, you walk him.

    Just horsesh!t strategery by Dusty.

The next couple of series will be tough. Dodgers, Padres,Red Sox, Blue Jays, Red Sox. While the A's have easier series. Then again, if the Astros could get swept by the Rangers, maybe the A's could lose to some bad teams. Hopefully the Astros don't dwell on this series and instead take their anger on the Dodgers.

When is the last time we lost 3 in a row anyway?

Didn't the Rangers have a 3 game losing streak coming into this series?

I'm not going to lie. This hurts bad. I'm f-ing pissed!

Yeah. Poor decision-making by Dusty. They should have walked Garcia, and probably pitch around (if not walk) Gallo too. This should have been an easy, obvious decision. The runner on 3rd is the only one that mattered.

This has been the most frustrating series of the season so far (yes, moreso than the Tigers), because at least 2 of the 3 games were winnable with a bit better decision making (and pitchers throwing more strikes).

Even the best offenses have occasional bad days (even against mediocre pitchers), and in order to be a legit contender you have to be able to win the close low-scoring games too. Managing and pitching matter more in such games.

No. They’ll be watching the Astros in the playoffs like the rest of us.

...and don't get me started on the "let's bat Correa 2nd" cluster****

Correa and Bregman having totally pathetic ABs sure didn't help either.

Even if you believe this, do you know who else on the Rangers would have hit a great pitch. Not a ****ing one of the them

If it was a great pitch and a hot hitter still gets a hit to win the game? You walk him you moron.

I don't understand. Even if you trust him, you have to take the situation into account. You would accomplish two things by walking him.

    1) Setting up the DP
    2) Walk the -ONE- guy that has been absolutely killing us.

It's just dumb. He can try to make some excuse about trusting him, but it was just dumb. I trust Pressley too, but the situation was screaming for a walk there.

Nothing thigh-high over the plate is a great pitch. It was a hell of a job by Garcia, though.

If I can understand the thinking behind a manager's moves, I'm not going to give them **** if they don't work out. That's just how it goes sometimes.

    I am giving Dusty ****.

I wish the 8-9 hitters in the lineup were the most important things we had to complain about.
