I dunno it all seems fairly equal. Durant shoots more but Irving and Harden create more which to me seems to me what you would want to do if you want to win. Harden is an amazing passer and Durant can shoot anytime he wants. While Irving breaks down the defense off the dribble.
Nets shaking off the rust, playoff jitters and lack of cohesion the only explanations for why this game isnt a 40 point blowout. Nets are so much more talented with the big 3 + Harris/Green/Shamet/Brown/Griffin. Boston is relying on tristan thompson and Parker and Williams (whos having a great game) to guard 1v1 from the 3 point line. One thing you can appreciate/expect in MDA offense is that they'll keep isolating that weak defensive matchup. Durant/Harden are getting great mismatches almost every play, they are just missing the shots or not performing up to their potential. Speaking of missing shots... Kemba looks washed. He might be a top 3 worst contract. Not many would've expected Scary Terry Rozier's signing would be the bargain and Kemba the disaster. And that might be game... Irving making tough shots like his idol Kobe and Durant with the breakaway.
I was surprised when he took the last game of the season off, he's always been a rhythm player and seems to gather rust if he misses games
Tatum is getting nothing from his teammates. It's easy to root for Kemba Walker, but when budget Damian Lillard is having an off night, there's really nothing else he can offer.
