My boy Mids for the win. Tough start to the series and if we keep playing like that it will be a Heat series win. Can't expect Butler to continue with such perfomances.
That ending of the regular time, especially finally the 10 second rule enforced, and OT was cool. A buzzer beater, a 3 to tie and a game winner, what more can you ask for? Well actually was rather disappointed in the final possessions by the Heat given Spoelstra’s track record. All of those forced threes, not coach fault per se, but still…Also Giannis is still not an MVP, but just a guy who can run.
Oh really? Remind me what happened in game 7 against OKC. No, it's okay, here's what happened. Have YOU watched any Rockets games?
Let no one ever forget that Pat Riley the supposed genius and Eric Spo an alleged top 3 coach or whatever thought Tyler Herro was worth more than James Harden.
Did you watch the rest of the game? He was good for the last few minutes of the game, but he was pretty bad the rest of it. If you are going to criticize other players James harden has his share of bad games in elimination games.
Of course. Everyone has bad games. But my post was about crucial moments. And you saying "he was good for the last few minutes" pretty much proves my point. Harden can be on the floor at the end because he can play defense. Kerr didn't have enough faith in Curry to think he could check a Memphis player. Harden can be on the floor at the end because he's pretty damn good on offense. Bud can't draw plays for Giannis, who had to be bailed out by Middleton. If that's tl;dr, Curry and Giannis (and Westbrook) all have deficiencies that render them pretty bad on one side of the ball, especially in clutch situations. You'll never see Harden subbed out because his defense sucks or because his offense sucks.
Good Win. Holiday was a GREAT Pickup Middleton is doing Middleton This was closer than I truly expected . I truly underestimated the HEAT Bucks cannot feel like they played their best and are confident in this series. Rocket River
I wonder how the Heat would have looked if they traded Herro + assets for Harden. The dude can't even see meaningful minutes in a playoff game, when less than a year ago, dude was balling out in the NBA Finals.
I don’t like Kerr/Curry as much as the next guy, but ... Curry was taken out in that last inbounds with 2 seconds left, because he had 5 fouls, and they needed to foul immediately (twice), while reserving Curry for the miracle shot with no timeouts, subbing him back in during the free throws. But alas, Bane got loose for the driving dunk, and-1. The defense (down 2) was to foul ... imo, leaving him in was probably still the right play ... just in case they steal the ball with no timeouts left ... they need Curry in. have him guard the inbounder.
Six incorrect non-calls. Q4 00:38.6: Dragic (MIA) reaches in and makes contact to Antetokounmpo's (MIL) arm that affects his shot attempt near the basket. Q4 00:36.7: Antetokounmpo (MIL) takes more than two steps after gathering the rebound. Q4 00:09.0: Dragic (MIA) is standing inside the three-point arc before the release of Antetokounmpo's (MIL) free throw attempt. Q5 01:38.0: Butler (MIA) boxes out Lopez (MIL), who initiates contact to Butler's face and dislodges him from his position during the rebound. Q5 00:29.2: Lopez (MIL) is in the lane for longer than three seconds without actively guarding an opponent. Q5 00:22.8: Dragic (MIA) steps on the sideline out of bounds after he receives the pass. NBA playoffs and these are your “best” officials! Embarrassing!
Miami's offense is dog doo doo. Good thing Pat Riley didn't trade Tyler Herro for James Harden, what a mistake that would've been.
Now it's Jimmy who's making everything and his teammates who are coming up empty. The Heat are done. They got helped out by the bubble or something when they made it to the Finals. Bucks in 3.
