We need big bodies to hold their own in the paint. No more twigs being broken and pushed around. Plus we need more rebounding. There are a few big men coming out if this draft who fit.
I would hope that Leonard could see the potential in this team. I know it's a dream.

You know I love defense too, I not only post ad nauseum about it but it's in my user name.

But the Nets would beat that Lakers ass like a sugared up toddler with a drum.

If the Lakers even get to the Finals in this watered down West.

Nets are too talented, too dominant offensively and their defense is very underrated.

Is there anyone worthy of conversation we can pursue while we have a 90 million dollar millstone tied to our necks?

Unless Gordon or whomever can be packaged with picks for a player we want?

If we get to keep our top 4 pick we will barely even have money. Basically MLE type player. Also, why do so many of these people have their eyes on guys that are 30+ years old? Seriously. Somebody said Robin Lopez.

I'm actually picking Utah to make it to the finals because I don't trust the health of AD
    and wienie LeBron.

Nets are just offense, and it's typical Nash/D'Antoni. Let's try to outscore everyone.
This will be D'Antoni's best chance to win a championship due to having 3 Superstars.

But Drummond/Gasol neutralize DeAndre Jordan /Blake Griffin. AD doesn't need help with Claxton.
Kuzma/Markieff/LeBron/Harrell/KCP/Wes Matthews/Caruso (1st team all defense last yr) are just a
little bit too much physicality for the Nets. Too big and too strong as they knock down Kyrie/Durant
time and time again. Offense provided by AD/LeBron/ Kuzma/Schroder....B McLemore
    providing some timely spot shooting.

Schroder is the key......if he can play team ball instead of bucking for an off season contract Schroder. Lakers can be a tough out.

Lakers have done nothing vs. Nets when James Harden plays.

The Nets Big 3 are too much for Lakers Big 3.

And Nets have the better role players too.

Lakers or Jazz, makes no never mind - Nets will steamroll them.

Beard by himself has owned the Jazz's soul, imagine when he is surrounded by KD, Kyrie, Joe Harris, Brown, Blake, Claxton, etc.

    The West has no chance.

    Blake like DeAndre Jordan, Drummond,
Gasol are too old and will more than
    likely be non factors.

As I've told you before, D"Antoni is
Champion of the regular season. I will
need to see adjustments in the playoffs.

The Bruce Brown experiment is going
to fall flat on its face. Too small.
Will be exposed in the playoffs

Mitchell will come back, Conely is smart,
Clarkson is playing good, Favors and
Gobert are space eaters, plus the
    addition of Bogdanovich puts them
    over the top.

Defense equally as good as Lakers.

P.S. I've been saying skinny players
like Clacton get taken to the woodshed
    by AD

Wonder what it would take to pry this young man away from Wizards?

Probably available for 2 SRP when he was with Bulls but he has broken out since given opportunity with WAS.

Bouncy 6'11 240 lbs with 7'3 wingspan and is a demon blocking shots and rebounding. Also a good switch defender.

They just got him this year and they ABSOLUTELY love him. There's no way 2 2nds would do it. He and Ish Smith were the unsung heroes of the playoff push.

I agree, I said he could have been had for 2 SRP when he was stuck at end of Bulls bench BEFORE being traded to Wizards.

Heck he probably could've been has for just 1 back then. THOSE are the guys we should target in FA. Trash to treasure gamble types. It worked out great for the Wizards and it could work for us too. Just got to keep buying lotto tickets till one pans out.

Yes sir. You and I had a discussion last season (In the 1st Rd) when I mentioned that
Houston/Miami was a good possibility. Both of us called it, when we said Dragic would
lead them but would probably get injured for the finals.

Wish we lived in the same city as you if it did end up Nets/Utah. Pick your brain as to what you
were thinking as the series took place. What adjustments you would try?

I don't even think Robin Lopez would take our money.

If we land anyone worth more than a Poo Emoji, it's through a trade.

I suggest drafting Bassey and I get criticized. Not glamorous enough.

Basically Gafford and Bassey do the same role. Same weight but Gafford is an inch shorter.

At one time Nerlens Noel was a glamorous pick......now just FA fodder.

    Exactly my point!

There are Bassey type players available that can be had for less than a FRP.

    Exactly!!!!

Bassey types, even Noel types (fallen top 10 talent) are available for MLE or SRP every offseason.

No need to waste a FRP on one IMO.
