Daniel House (or anyone else) would have been suspended/placed in H&S protocols for 10-14 days but phew, glad they “addressed it with the team.”

LeBron James Violated COVID-19 Protocols By Attending Promotional Event

LeBron James violated the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols by attending a promotional event for a tequila brand.

The tequila was poured at a brief outdoor photo shoot, and invitees, including recording artist Drake and actor Michael B. Jordan, had to produce proof of vaccination or a recent negative test result in order to attend. The incident occurred before the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors in Wednesday's Play-In.

"It's a violation of the agreed upon protocols, and, as we have in other comparable instances around the league, it has been addressed with the team," a league spokesman told ESPN on Friday.

James has declined to say whether he received the COVID-19 vaccine. James was asked on Friday if the possibility of being placed in the NBA's COVID-19 protocols impacted his decision on whether to get the vaccine.

"Anything I do off the floor is predicated to my family, for the majority -- for 99.9% of that," James said. "So, it's about the health and safety of my family, and that's what it came down to.

"Me being available to my teammates on the floor is me taking care of my body. Me doing everything I can do to make sure I'm available both mentally, physically and spiritually, as well. But anything of that nature, that's all family talk."

The reporter then followed up by asking James directly if he had received the vaccine.

"It's not a big deal," chuckling briefly after giving his answer.

Dennis Schroder previously told the media that he and James were the only Lakers not to receive the vaccine.

Schroder later updated his vaccine roll call, telling reporters last weekend, "I'm the only guy that didn't get vaccinated. I'll just leave it at that."

Curry's kickouts looking for fouls, where he flailed at air and fell on his ass, should have been technical fouls. They debased the game and revealed to the casual fan how much he cheats.

And that’s why I said if Memphis would have lost that game the coach should have been fired. There’s no excuse to not use your challenge with little time left in the game on a suspect call.

There is actually a lot of reasons you don't want to use it: costs you a valuable timeout, and if you don't win the challenge, it could deflate your team's momentum.
Even if you do win it, it could cause your team, a young team, to feel as if they are holding on.
By not using it, you keep your team's edge and they may be a little madder that the calls aren't going their way, which is exactly what happened.

I do feel that if it is a matter of winning or losing the game, on a last second shot, then use it. Otherwise, best not to.
