No! He was exhausted from that 1 pitch yesterday. Can't wear him out. Also, rest days for everyone tomorrow.
I think it's time to bring up Framber Valdez and Jake Odorizz from the minors and send Trash Abreu and Joe Smith to the minors to learn how to play baseball.
I like Abreu... but as a situational righty or 7th inning guy. He's forced into high-leverage right now because Paredes has been sucking, Stanek has been sucking, James is injured, and Baez is who knows what?
Was anybody else warming up in the bullpen? I guess Enoli would have been the only other person available given that Dusty already declared Stanek/Scrubb would not pitch today. Even more puzzling why he didn’t allow Pressly to go further.
Abreu, watching him the last few games he's come on, has been very shaky. Has no confidence in his pitching. He just needs to be sent down to figure **** out. I think it's time for these starters to go all the way or do as many innings as possible in games since we have a shitty bullpen.
Dusty is the ****ing coach. He needs to preserve the win - get the best reliever out there to do it...and that's Pressly. I don't give a **** what Pressly says.....GET YOUR ASS OUT THERE AND CLOSE OUT THE DAMN GAME!
Oakland seems they're about to win tonight.... smh The only good news is we play early tomorrow. Thus we can "somewhat" redeem this crap sooner.
