Because some need all the false narratives they can imagine to make it appear that Curry is playing alongside garbage. But hey, at least he isn't crediting Curry with their top notch defense, like he does when other talented star players ball.
Well, it's a narrative, but it's not imaginary if it's supported by results (2-7) and stats. According to statmuse, warriors overall OFF RTG is 111.1, but in the 9 games without Curry, it drops to 104.8, near bottom of the league. Sure, you can say when the offense is "built around" someone, then it's hard to adapt. However, it is stark contrast to when warriors were stacked and was winning playoff series without Curry.
the warriors have a top 5 defense. they have players like looney, draymond, wiggins and when healthy oubre that contribute to that. The warriors are winning because of their defense. Their offense is below average
Curry clearly could not carry his own team to beat the Lakers. I mean even Harden gave up trying to beat the Lakers.
yea because the lakers of last year are anywhere close the same lakers who are barely in the play-in this year lol. Nice try tho
The Lakers who are barely in the play-in this year missed LeBron a third of the games and AD half of the games. And now they are back healthy and barely beat Curry's team with a lucky last second shot. LOL. Nice try tho.
the lakers even with lebron are not the same team, they lost rondo, dwight, and javale. replaced them with drummond and montrezl who are garbage defenders, have injuries to marcus morris .. also lebron is not even close to being 100%
Wait, you are saying Rondo (34), Dwight (34) and Javale (32) are better than prime Drummond and Montrezl (6th man of the year) in their prime? And they are so trash defensively that they ranked #1 DRTG even with LeBron and AD having missed so many games? LOL. Make perfect sense. Confirmation bias is strong in this thread.
Disappointing season...yeah right. Give it up... Curry has balled this year. There is no debate. He carried the hell out of that team.
lmao I love the disparity of expectations for players. This lowly expectation is for a two-time MVP winner no less. He carried the hell out of the team to.... either barely qualify for the playoffs. Or finish out of the playoffs. Yet someone of say. James Harden's calibre. Carries the hell out of a team with people such as Joey Dorsey starting for half the year and he still ends up with home court advantage.
What's your definition of carrying? Scoring a lot of points each night and potentially not making the playoffs? lmao so he carried them to... the lottery exactly? Such wow. Much weight.
