Soon and we don't know. To expound: just called up Tyler Ivey to take Urquidy's spot in the rotation for a bit. He'll be sent back down when either Framber or Urquidy are ready to come back. When the other one of those 2 comes back is when the real (and good to have) problem arises. Then there's also Odorizzi, who's on a rehab assignment in AAA along with Framber.
I'm putting Javier and Garcia in the bullpen when Framber,Odorizzi,Urquidy make it back and keep Ivey if he's successful in his start stretched out in the minors.
Same here. I really like the idea of having a guy like Javier in the pen. A guy who can come in and shut down a team for 2-3 innings.
Shocked when I saw he's was hitting .230 during the game at some point.. Figured he was half that at .115 or something
That's insane. Ended up retiring 17 of 18 (?) to finish the 8th. What a pitching gem tonight. Seemed so effortless....minus his yelling with his pitches lol.
There's been a couple of others (SEA in '19, COL last year), but that's pretty much his best start with the Stros.
RISP A'ss - 0/3 Astros - 5/12 No clutch luck bullsh!t by the A'ss tonight Despite this, we left 11 on base.
I wonder if a certain someone in here is going to be upset that the Astros "wasted" another inning of Emanuel with a 7 run lead
If you get 19 guys on base and score 8 of them you're gonna have a good time. Hadn't pitched in 5 days. Also, Mancini had 5 RBI for Balmer tonight so Yuli is only 2nd in MLB, 2 behind
Shockingly, the A's were 0-6 last night. Bad calls and Straw screwed us. Astros haven't trailed during game-play this series.
