Well, I tried. At least it was only 1 LOB and no one in scoring position. Improvements.

It does feel like a game where the batters are swinging hard trying to strike the killer blow. Let's hope it comes, or they just start stringing together some hits.

Once again... if Straw isn't running there, why is he a starter on this team?

 

Pitcher that’s slow to the plate, catcher just put in the game fresh off the IL, fastest runner on the base paths... and no game plan to try and steal and avoid that GIDP that just happened.

That would have been the perfect time. Game isn’t on the line there, but its still only a 1 run game. Not really in position for a big inning. Straw on base with less than 2 outs.
