I think Harden is the one player in the league that Russ has the least chance of being mad at in a game. It would have to be some type of weird occurrence for it to take place. Westbrook will save all of that for Irving and Durant lol

It's cool to see Ish Smith still contributing, he's still insanely quick and has a really good feel for the game.

I remember his summer league debut for the Rockets like it was yesterday.

This has nothing to do with silver. Boston is just flat out the better team. The narrative the public was running with that Washington was going to let westbrick win this so he can face harden/KD

 

both terrible games tonight. Wizards defense is terrible, and their offense was reliant on isos and when that was off it was just terrible. Ish Smith and Lopez were the only ones who looked decent and tatum was just the most skilled, smartest player on the court tonight. I still can't imagine Celtics going too far now that they'll have the nets.

Pacers Wizards hopefully will be more fun.

Of course it was. It’s all over social media and betting sites. A depleted Boston team that’s been struggling vs a apparently hot Washington team with westbrick facing his old teammates. Even the ESPN panel voted 12-4 in favor of this wizards over Celtics game

 

Whether the games are close or not is really irrelevant to whether they should continue doing play in games. I mean, we've had finals sweeps where the games weren't even that close, does that mean no finals? Some will be close, some will not, that's the nature of the sport itself.

 

Yea I think Westbrook is comparable to Tatum in terms of NBA marketability and merchandise. Westbrook vs harden and Durant is a more marketed series than celtics. This was just Tatum having a historic night, looking like MJ out there, and brad steens running a way better ship than Brooks and as you mentioned, celtics are just better. When wizards silver linings for the game are Lopez and Ish Smith and gabbord, you're not winning in the playoffs.

 

No team stuck with Westbrick has any chance unless he's on a team with 2 legitimate HOFers
