Forget a trade, the cost going out would be prohibitive. Stretch is the only answer.

Right now I will take any of those deals O.P.

Just concentrating on the team playing real basketball instead
of this tanking stuff next season.

Who can tell what these stats truly show? Did players give effort at any
particular time or did the opposition feel sorry for us when they
jumped out to 30 point leads......then take their boot off our throats?

If there is a serious discussion about trading Wall, keep it objective and approach it from TF perspective.

First list all the contracts that are worse than Walls. Go from there.

Nobody. So that leaves only the Pistons, Kings, Pelicans, T-Wolves and Magic.

No need for the stretch. That'll hurt us in the long run. Just waive him and let the contract come off the books in 2023.

We need to root for the Clippers to crash and burn in the Playoffs. Wall is the only team where it makes some slight basketball sense.

I workshopped EG and Wall trades. I found a couple of possible EG destinations but could not find any realistic Wall situations. The contract is just so big for matching. And then you have to ALSO find the right trade partner that has a need and he is a solution for them.

Your best bet is to find expiring salary in 2023 (no chance in 2022). Basically find expiring contracts in 2023 that are broken apart. Tough to do.

I feel a buyout is more likely at some point.

I really don't understand why everyone on CF wants to get out from under Wall's contract so bad. Even if we did, I don't see Tilman willing to spend that money on other players and I don't see other free agents wanting to join this dumpster fire over the next two years anyway. So why does it matter? Especially, why would anyone advocate giving up assets to dump the contract?

Teams will rather take the chance and wait if wall will be bought out at one stage next 1-2 season.

Because Wall sucks and stunts the development of our players

So do his teammates. You have to surround yourself with greatness in order to be that

The Rockets won 2 games since Wall last played on 4/23. 1 where the clips threw out their C/D team for Bill's last game. It isn't just on wall. This team sucks as a whole and they aren't even winning without him

This squad’s not going forward WITH JW. So, then what?

FT has 0% choice as a business person letting this season cascade upon itself to cinderville. Perhaps the wrong decisions will ensue yet TF/FO must show a forward path.
