I guess the politically correct term nowadays is 'little person'.

John Wall is such a welcome sight in every sense of the phrase. He looks fresh, rejuvenated, and hungry. His first step is as quick as ever, and he is playing extremely hard on defense. All that, and HE ACTUALLY WANTS TO BE HERE.

Still very early, but I am cautiously optimistic.

As long as Harden is here, then he's the point guard.

Whether he's the answer or not is yet to be scene but he isn't WB.

I didn't realize Wall took so much pride in his shot blocking ability. Calls himself the best shot blocking guard in history.

Wall’s reckless defense reminds me of Beverly diving on the floor and trying to block everything. It’s great to see such effort but hopefully his body can handle it.

He is more controlled than Westbrook
    but
That does not mean completely under control

Yeah, people are tripping that are saying they'd rather have Westbrook and that Wall is playing terribly. The numbers say otherwise. He's playing alright, same for everyone on the team...everyone is playing...ok...which is good enough to beat the Kings and Magic but not good enough to beat the Lakers or nuggets or Mavs.

    Dudes are not hitting shots.

Can he play better? Absolutely. But you can say that for every player on the team right now and the coaching staff. Everyone can do better...but guys have to hit OPEN SHOTS.

We are bottoms in the league for 3pt %. There's your stat right there. The teams under us all suck.

I love Nwaba but he needs to be a bench energy guy until he can shoot. House needs to return. We need to play more Bmac and we should have never got rid of Green.

EDIT: One good thing about Wall is I don't think he's untradeable at least. He's explosive and looks like the usual Wall. If we do get Simmons or trade Harden I think he can be traded. Spurs seem to like old players like him...

need something more official. the ties that bind Wall here won't dissolve with a suspicious poll.

I sincerely doubt he's waiving that final year. There's a good possibility that final year is worth more money than any potential 3/4yr deal a team (presumably a contender at this stage of his career) would offer

I agree... and it's not likely.... but I could see him becoming a Knick. The Knicks have the cap space next season to absorb Wall, pay Randle, and have some spare change to keep Rose/vets. Wall opts out of the player option and signs an extension (60 mill 4/5 years) while the Knicks will have enough room pay Barrett if they want.
