Undisputed. Rudy T's unique ability was to recognize and encourage every player's strength despite their limitations. This brought the best out of them.

I think it will happen, simply because of his attachment to the Lakers and Spurs.

I do agree with you. It was a nice and sentimental recommendation from our beloved and great coach.

To be fair, Kobe and Duncan would have one less ring if Harry hadn’t been there.

I think Sam Cassell, Otis Thorpe are deserving of the Hall of Fame also.

If Webber made it in, then why not? Seriously, though, it's not a participation trophy. But, in a weak year otherwise with eveyone knowing ESPN needs to fill out the program, it can happen.

Loved the sentiment! I had to refresh my memory a bit and take a look at Horry's career stats. I think it's a tough sell.

That will help but he helped revolutionize how to play with a big man. His play and role changed the way the game is played.

If anyone deserved this, Ainge did. This was only 2 years after he chucked a ball at Mario Elie’s face.

Yes and no. He was a regular season role player to be sure, but he was a different player in the playoffs. He was the third best player in the 95 Rockets championship team (and arguably the second best in the Finals).

He also single handedly won games for the 2002 Lakers and 2005 Spurs that were critical to those championships.

We talk about Horry like he was Steve Kerr, but he brought a lot more to the table than that: elite defense & passing, rebounding, and in his prime, he was a decent all-around scorer. Horry is in the top 15 all-time in playoff steals and blocks, including a Finals record 7 steals in a Finals game in 1995.

If Ben Wallace is in . . . Then Horry should be in
