My doctor is qualified and I trust her. She says things that make sense. The CDC and Fauci have been inconsistent, sloppy, and overall non-sensical.
I personally do not oppose them, but if somebody did oppose them I wouldn't care. If I chose to give my child a particular vaccine then I give zero effs what other parents do with respect to their own kids. They can assume their own risk.

Right...however wear a mask or not - your choice. Get a vaccine or not - your choice ...is quite a bit different. Please tell me how those two statements represent having to make a bad choice (as in your example). It's literally the EXACT thing many are doing including the majority of Republican House representatives.

Out of curiosity since you support personal responsibility how did you feel about the health insurance mandate? After all that was requiring Americans to have insurance and have personal responsibility to pay for their healthcare. Trump did away with that of course.
So you're angry that he didn't list as a third choice the only alternative which is endanger the public by being unvaccinated and not following the social distancing/masking guidelines. Coercion is forcing someone else to do something when they're just minding their own business (as in your example). It's not coercion to tell someone not to endanger other people.
This line of reasoning is amusing. Using it, people should be able to drive after drinking any amount of alcohol. If you feel endangered, just stay off the roads... and sidewalks. Take your own precautions.
