I actually converted all my btc to ether and ada 2 weeks ago. Idk why but just felt like they were gaining traction as utility tokens (minus the gas fees of course )

Agree with this , it’s basically gold. After I make my gains will hodl as btc . As utility it won’t be the answer but then again it’s not like we’re walking around with gold either

Yeah, even for moving funds around, people are switching to things like ADA, XLM, etc., when possible.
I don't even know what BTC and ETH transaction fees are now. I hear the average is below $20 now for BTC.... yay? lol. Mine on.

    And?

Ghee, I step away from CF for a a couple months and you guys start a 29 page thread on my favorite topic.

Defi tokens have been lagging during this ETH + scamcoin snz. They are ready to play catchup. I am mostly in ETH, (and FLI 2x-leveraged ETH), LINK, AAVE, YFI, SUSHI, CRV

Smaller bags of RAY, WOO, MKR, SNX. Farming OHM, STEP, COPE.

Pretty much everything has been getting killed vs. ETH. I am trying to get out of all my low cap trash and stay in ETH and defi blue chips for the foreseeable future.

99% of crypto projects are based on hope or marketing. Almost any coin will make money in this market, but defi is the most productive space, and the only one that is brining in real revenue. I'm sticking there.

it's harder than it looks. Just as easy to get rekt as make 10x. Why wear yourself out chasing scams when there are legit projects with plenty of room to run in this market?

Have you guys been talking about how badass ETH has been doing? EIP-1559 is coming in July--fee burns making ETH a potentially deflationary asset. The supply reduction is going to be similar to having multiple BTC halvings at once. ETH $10-20k is coming. Defi will come along. LINK will be there as the oracle for every legit defi project on every chain. 4 figure apr farming yield are easy to find. Safe 20% yields on stablecoins. So many opportunities right now. No need to risk money on the safemoons, cumrockets, poocoins of the world.

At the moment Cardano is vaporware. They still do not have smart contract functionality. It’s the ultimate blockchain in theory. If and when they ever get it together, etherum will be in or close to v2 and will have an enormous first mover advantage. Going to be tough going for ada to entice developers. Plus Charles hoskinson is the worst haha.

I’m ambivalent about polkadot, but this is great news for dot and ksm bags. Might be the catalyst they need to finally play catchup with the gains the other layer 1’s have had recently—eth, sol, ada.

Im not sure what your 'investment' goals are. From reading your posts, you seem to be a short term and day trader. I present my arguments from a macro and long term perspective, however I am willing to grift like the rest of ya, albeit im terrible at it.

To answer your question directly, I have not seen anything promising coming out of Cardano. Sure, you can transport across it cheaply, but that can be done with lots of projects out there. Back in the last boom, Ethereum was used if the network wasn't at max capacity. Now ETH, like BTC, seems to stay at max capacity. People hold ADA for speculation, which is just a nice way to say gambling. If someone believes cryptocurrencies are a good way to hedge against the dollar and the market, they will not store it in ADA. So yes, at this point, ADA is a **** coin. Its will over 4 years into the project and nothing of substance has come out of it.

Doge is in flux. If Gen Z starts to use Doge as an alternative to something like Venmo, it will be the first true MOE currency. I would say Musk is about the only person that could convince the world to use it as such.

There has yet to be a PoS protocol that has been successful. VeChain is testing out PoA and so far it seems promising. Keep in mind BSC by most accounts is considered fully centralized and has been doing very well, however institutional money will not buy into it. I expect BSC to take the role as an online global casino as some of these projects start to solve the decentralized issues.

I look at this stuff the same way. I take short term trades based on narrative/TA with small size all the time.

But when it comes to real money, I only want to be in things I would feel comfortable holding through another 3 year bear market, were this bull to abruptly come to an end.

For me that’s only ETH, BTC, LINK

+1 on LINK. Article below is a long chainlink read but if you want to learn the fundamentals and be in it long term....LINK is not a bad bet and has a lot of room to grow. We're still early

Leading Oracle service, blockchain agnostic, GREAT team behind the project

Check out VeChain (im not encouraging you to jump in) and give me your thoughts. Ill check out Link. Its been awhile since I checked out Cardano and it only took me a few minutes to realize its complete vaporware, as you put it.
