So you actually don't give a **** yet you are always in here telling others what they should be doing.

You not being a social worker does not mean you can't help and uplift these young black males that you claim you care so much about.

You are more a fraud than I thought.

    SMDH.

Okay so now you are trolling as your statement does not address anything about working.

One race got cheap mortgages like candy during the cheapest era of modern real estate while another race didn't and those properties grew 4-6 fold increasing the intergenerational wealth of one race while the other race had to mostly pay rent and finally were in a position to own homes when the value of a home signficantly increases pricing out many families that wouldn't have been priced out when redlining was legal.

So you did not have the proper work ethic and would be an example of just giving up.

Yet for some reason you think you are a role model and can lead the youth of today?

More personal attacking. At some point you actually have to work. I don't need to be a plumber.

    @jiggyfly

These are two subjects but this has come up before. Redlining does not prevent home ownership. You don't think blacks can improve our own neighborhood?

I find that extremely doubtful given how many construction projects are going on in Texas year round. Especially for apprentices as apprentices are cheap labor compared to journeymen and cost cutting when able is always done. Given the recent winter freeze where pipes froze and again I'm sure plumbers are doing just fine. Then you think how Houston is below sea level and floods almost annually, and again, I know there's an abundance of work to be had out there. You're so full of ****.

Bro the union is not a contractor not a school. They don't have unlimited jobs. You don't know what the fuq you're talking about. They have competition.

I have been real honest about my life. Don't be the arrogant b**** jerk you are and say I'm going to lie to you. Don't give a fuq about you like that.

    Edit: union is a contractor

You saying a statement doesn't make it true. You have to explain why. Redlining occured during the cheapest era of modern real estate right after ww2. It happened during an era where if redlining didn't occured, a signficant portion of working class black families could have easily afforded those cheap mortgages and pay them off back in the day to where today, you would have a signficantly larger portion of modern black families owning property because they got it during the a signficantly cheaper era while having that property rise in value 4-6 times its original value increasing intergenerational wealth signficantly.

Today, any new prospective home buyer is ****ed due to the absurd cost of new homes but that means that one race is disproportionately affected because white families got their homes when they were cheap and now own those same homes when those values are highly inflated which is causing the signficant wealth gap between white and black families.

Just imagine multiple generation of black families not having to pay rent or a mortgage because they were passed down a home from their parents. Imagine the amount of financial freedom they would have in being able to afford high quality early childhood education, college education etc or even sell their homes and move to a new neighborhood that have higher rates school districts. White families disproportionately got access to that type of luxury by a signficant margin because of redlining.

But yet you are not doing anything to help them or steer them to getting those skills.

Have you told any of them about these programs LB has linked?

You mean it prevents Black people from moving into neighborhoods where new homes were being built?

When redlining was legal as in banks were legally allowed to deny loans based on race, the suburban housing boom allowed for families to obtain cheap mortgages that a blue collar high school educated family could easily afford and pay off. Black families were denied those mortgages and today even though those practices are illegal, white families got theirs when real estate was extremely cheap and now own all the property that increased by 4-5 fold while black families on average didn't get that opputuinity.

Redlining isn't about cheap mortgages it's about the location of the house.

See there is a red line blacks can't go past.

Why can't you build a new house in a black neighborhood?
