And resources will win. With the right super pac donations and support, our 'representatives' will continue to goto bat more for whoever pays than whatever they run on. Likewise with a a nice arms deal or two to Saudi, all of a sudden sponsors of terrorism, extremism, unjust governing and treatment of women or things we cite abotu why we need to attack syria or iran don't apply anymore. A friend of mine lives in Tel Aviv. He and his wife have two small daughters. His wife is pregnant. They had to spend the last couple of nights in a bomb shelter because the Hamas terrorists are once again firing thousands of missiles at Israeli civilians. When you are far away, it's easy to just say you have middle east fatigue, and I can understand. But I was on a Zoom call with him today when he had to retreat to the bomb shelter.

Israel deserves our protection and solidarity. Hamas are terrorists.

Both sides deserve our sympathy and disdain. It's far more nuanced than simply beliving one side is morally supurior.

Also Hamas attacks on Israeli cities are almost never successful. The iron dome does its magic and Hamas doesn't have the infrastructure to do precision targeting or overcoming Israeli defenses. Obviously they aren't as fearful as they claim when so many many humans who live comfortable upper middle class lifestyles in counties like the US migrate to Israel. You would think that wouldn't happen if the these threats were as dangerous as you claim.

And between Israelis and Palestinian, one group has a easy route to migrate to signficantly safer regions in Europe and the US even without a visa while one group often never gets the chance or if they do have to go through a multi year waiting process. That group has a much more difficult time escaping their hellhole.

 

What about the Palestines that have had their land taken and have been "relocated"?
