Murphy’s banishment from the booth has gone on long enough.....it’s time to bring him back to the main booth next year with Bullard!!! That is the best and most honorable way to replace the legend Bill Worrell.
I don't think it's a great idea to have two color commentary people on the same broadcast. Need a play-by-play guy.
You and Hank McDowell make a great point....Bullard needs to go. He is a subpar color commentator and says the same things over and over and over. He says something one night and repeats it for the rest of the saeson (e.g. “I like how this team never gives up....they play hard every night.....The NBA needs to get rid of that type of foul call....KMJ has rockets on his shorts, etc..”). They could use Murph and Ackerman and not miss a beat.
And that's going to mean that all of those polls that say our commentary team is the worst in the NBA will finally be accurate. Craig's got great passion and prepares well with his research but his voice and style on the mic is grating and annoying. Going to be listening to the opponent's commentators a lot more after this year if they just run it back with Craig and Bull full time.
I think those polls were pretty accurate with Bill and Bull I’ve been mostly listening to the opponent commentators for years unless we were playing someone like GS, San Antonio, Boston, or Dallas Bull is corny, and Bill is likable, but was getting senile on the mic
I actually feel like the Jeff van Gundy - Mark Jackson combo works. It's more like listening to a podcast while watching the game, but still entertaining
Our commentators were rated poorly because they’re raging homers. Ackerman is less of that than Bill and Clyde, but other fans hated us so hearing positive things about our team at all was off putting to them.
It’s time to bring Calvin home.. Bullard can do away games. And from time to time sprinkle in some Clyde to club them baby seals!

Calvin is not a play by play guy that is the dumbest **** I have ever seen written on this forum and that says a lot. Its going to be Craig and I expect Matt Thomas to take over radio full time.

Loved Calvin in his broadcasting prime. Cut short by Les’ moralizing. But he’s past it. Leave the past in the past and enjoy the memories. Time to look forward.
